Known bug, is going to be fixed in 0.73 (also take a look at this [edit] and this [/edit])

Hello there,

Heres the text for copying if someone would be kind enough to do it.

"CTD Attacking a Pirate Galleon in Velvet tears. It doesnt happen when it blows, it seems to happen after the galleons shields go down, although it has happened when it had some shields. Crash EVERY time I fight it.
However I think this isnt the problem, I think its all the PSG's that the galleon is stacked out with crashing my system (Although, a few times I have been out of range on the PSG's and it still crashed.

All this was reported @ TXU forums and noted/fixed for upcoming patch .7.3.

Axeface Check your memory timings. Try lowering them in BIOS settings. For some users it helped and X3+XTM no longer CTDs. Also i saw you posted this @ TXU Forums.

Is it just my imagination, or is the Hydra Mk I you can buy in XTM made of all kinds of awesome? I have one with BPACs in the turrets and APBEs on the main guns and it just rips through small groups of pirates...great for capturing, too!

Incidentally, I have a query. I have a Xenon P Raider that I got from a Xenon core sector. The rear turret won't take more than one gun no matter what I do. I've even sat directly in the turret, added another gun via the HUD, and a few seconds later the gun just removes itself--you can see the barrel disappear (although the icon for the gun remains on the HUD, which is a bit weird--it goes as soon as you exit the turret and get back in). The ship never adds another gun or changes the gun already in the other turret slot, so it can't be something to do with it using NPC turret commands--it just won't allow that second turret gun to be populated no matter what.

That's a bug in vanilla X3 ... or if it is no bug, at least a strange quirk

Set the turret commands to "none" and then back to what you want. Now you should be able to install weapons.
Ran into this one while betatesting UniCap on captured M6 and up ships.

Wierd mouse issue with XTM!!

Just installed XTM with no other mods save Bala Gi, restarted with a fresh game.

Issue is that the mouse sensitivity keeps jumping all over the place. . . . sometimes its fine for 10 minutes, sometimes its like dragging it through quicksand, sometimes it cuts out all together, sometimes it goes back to normal when the menus are up, sometimes not. It only seems to be a problem flying your ship, on menu mode it always seems to work fine!

This is probably the single strangest error I have ever encountered with any game!! And is pretty much rendering the game unplayable.

Okay, I've installed XTM and its great but where do I find those M0's - I've seen the Terran Valhalla but where can you buy it ? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks - Naritius1

I already tried that and it makes no difference.

Do you have any kind of turret controlling scripts like the weapon changer script?

No, the only scripts I have installed (apart from XTM, obviously) are the Bonus Pack and Cycrow's SOS Mk 2. (I only installed that because I needed it to claim the P in the first place).

Anyway, I've given up on it and sold the ship--I found I preferred flying the Hydra Mk I anyway, and (with some help from a dead Shivan Dragon) it meant I could afford a TL.

Yeah the Hydra Mk1 is a great ship, I'm flying it with 2 beta PBEs and 2 Alpha HEPTS in the main. 2 Beta PACS in the rear and 2 Hepts in the front turret. Tears thru anything smaller than an M2 in small groups.

Hmm ... strange, I just tried my free P and had the same problem you described. Setting the turret command to "none" helped though. Sorry, can't help you then.

You need the pirate scrapyard, which is in a random pirate sector. (Mine is in Mi Ton's Refuge, but yours is probably somewhere else).

Posting here as I use lots of scripts and they don`t really support MOD with scripts. I use a lot of scripts as well. All of cycrows, XAI corp, LV`s, and a few others.
Is anyone else having problem with reputation, i`m using terran custom start, and after 1 day I managed to get paranid rep to piest confidante, but the core sectors are still hostile.
All the other races changed fine, it`s only the Paranid.
I have LV cheats and I have tried to increase rep throught that but even at the highest rep, they are still red.
I have checked all my friend/foe settings and the only thing that seems off is that once the paranid attack, it changes the setting too foe (Not sure if that`s normal).
OFC if it`s something else than any ideas on how I can correct this and carry on with the game would be great!
