hey, so far, i LOVE this mod
Check out this photo from Heretic's End http://lh5.ggpht.com/_gP4m41qs3X8/SxYRl ... n00076.jpg
Would post the photo, but i don't wanna shrink it down....
a couple of things i have noticed...
you removed the sun from the Hub, and now i have to say, it looks kinda silly. its too dark, and looks pretty bad.
Jupiter was called "Ganymede", yes, i know thats the name of the largest of Jupiter moons, but i don't know if you did that intentionally.
and last, the Asteroid belt, feels more like an Asteroid Cloud, than a belt proper

hi,
Great mod and very interesting, i try it and it love it ^^
you wrote : The jobs file has been altered, it is loosely based on Ulfius' Cmod3 'Extreme', all civilians have been removed, due to larger sector sizes I have increased the number of traders to compensate for ware production shortages in V1.0.
I want to know if you could make a patch to recover all civilian , without civilian the space have no life.
i try to modifie .cat and change jobs.pck for recovering all civilian, but i think i forgot something, many civilian come back but, many military ship lost there pathfinding job, they stay in space and do nothing.
perhaps could you tel me how i can exactly modifi "type" in your .cat for recover all civilian, what file i must change for that.
I think there are Jobs.pck and Jobwings.pck i must restore to original stat.
Where i can find original file for that, or perhaps can you make a zip whith good file for download.
Thank again for this great mod, and thank for your help

i nearly didnt install this mod for this reason...
some of us dont have a problem with the FPS/CPU.
when you have a 9800 Video, and a FAST quad, this isnt a problem
i really loved my civilians, all that hustle and bustle.
i too would like to see this

Good news for me. I'm running into hanging or game freezes but it's not related to any more of the scripts and mods. It's mostly related to CPU, means if the game randomly has lots of ships and battles going on it means that my game might hang in a continually loop. After I removed the military revamp I noticed a high decrease in hangs and freezes after I removed it. I can at least play for about a few hours in a row without hangs or freezes now as when I had that mod installed I had hangs ever few minutes or so between 10 mins to 30 mins from starting a game

ditto- a shame that thre's no option to allow for civilians or not. ditto the billboards. for me, i play this game as a humble fighter pilot, not the owner of a vast armada. so, i may never encounter epic battles. and my system runs the game very well.captain1 wrote:hi
i would also like civilians
because it seems like half
the ships are gone and
space is empty
consider this a vote a civilians and billboards option for this great mod. thanks.

just delete the Tjobs file from the cat/dat, and there, u get the vanilla civillians back.pepperg wrote:ditto- a shame that thre's no option to allow for civilians or not. ditto the billboards. for me, i play this game as a humble fighter pilot, not the owner of a vast armada. so, i may never encounter epic battles. and my system runs the game very well.captain1 wrote:hi

Never seen that happen before... that is only if your running the non-tship version though. The tship version is modified so certain ships move more quickly. What really caught my attention besides the awesome battles this brings to the game was the part where my FPS no longer sucked ball due to stations being so close to one another. ESPECIALLY LARGE MOFO stations that seem to be the size of a freaking moon in system that eats up FPS like a blackhole when your looking at it

again about keeping sectors without backgrounds:
i extracted
maps/x_universe.xml
maps/x_universe_debris.xml
types/jobs.pck
types/jobWings.pck
types/globals.pck
and deleted the mod. seems like old backgrounds returned, except for systems like Patriarch Conclussion or Homily of Perpetuity, where there's still blackness, but I guess thats unavoidable.
The thing is; when using regular SSBM, i had civilian ships. In description you wrote that you used CMOD's jobs, that remove civilians (still, they were here). Now, after extracting, civilians became just dots without descriptions, which means jobs file actually started to work and is removing civilians.
So it could mean that something is wrong with SSBM jobs, some conflict?

every plot is playable, and about the tships... you prefer. If you want slower peaced gameplay, ignore the tship, but yeah, I advice you to get it.unknown1 wrote:ok guys ,so what i want to know is : are all the original major plots still playable, corporation missions and so on?
oh and what best?the t-ships version or non t-ship version? Thanks
