Bet you guys never thought you'd see me again hehehe.
Im still doing my course another 5 months to go.
Anyway as I said in another thread on the forums I have an animated Spacepark which I forgot to post. Im pretty darn sure this is the file so here ya go enjoy it.

As for the Extended Mod and my ships sorry but I dont have the time to redo them. I havent fired up X3 in a very very long time, however as stated at the begining of this thread feel free to mod them. All I ask is that you give credit to where its due, ie Coxxon for the original Meshes in 3ds Max and myself thats it.

I cant see why they shouldnt work. I used to run Extended Mod with my ships installed and I had no problems with it.
Anyway as I said I havent played in a very long time since last August actually and I dont even know where my X3 Disk is these days.
Try trolling this thread as Im sure Ive seen the answer in here somewhere.

Uhmmm they used the ones I did then modded them, I gave them permission and its also on the first page. Whereelse do you think they got the Valkyrie from because thats my Valkyrie there. The original Valkyrie is over 300k Polys and is far too big for X3 to handle.-Laura- wrote:@Pitsch

i got the bsg ships from a buddy before he went to the iraq.
so far i used the ships for my privat mod. since 2 weeks i support a german bsg mod, they asked fon non-military ships.
i found your site and i think the ships are from there.
before i get trouble i want to ask for your permission to use the non-military ships for a german ship mod.

The problems I've had with them in X-tended are drive flares that are actually inside the models. Also, the capitals have some guns that do not work.

Hi everyone!
I'm a great fan of the ships, they look amazing, however I've been having the same problem as many people here looking through the thread which is the problem of the guns on the Battlestars not going off.
Amazing ships, but kind of pointless if the guns don't work eh?
Having read through the thread I've seen lots of people point out the problem, and I've seen the authors attempts to fix them, but some people still have the problem so I have a possible solution.
Only the side guns on Galactica work, and none on the Valkyrie but all of them work on Pegasus, so I suggest that someone, mayhaps the author if he has time (I'm a uni student too so I feel your pain) or someone else with experience could replace the turrets on the Galactica and Valkyrie to use standard turrets like the Pegasus and release them as a sort of fix version if people can't get the custom guns to work, which while I'm sure look amazing when they do work, and even when they don't, but do make the ships useless in game.
I'd love to do this myself, but I have neither the tools, experience nor time and have spent some using what little tools I have to no effect.
I do remember from earlier in the thread the author speaking of how long it takes to do turrets, but if someone could do this it would make some gods damn awesome ships accessible to a lot more people.

Try backing up components.txt to another location, then delete the one in your X3 directory. This will make X3 regenerate one when it starts up (will make it take longer to load the first time.)
This *could* sort out the turret problem, I haven't looked myself, so I'm just taking a guess as to what the problem could be.

Oh how'd you go with the Spacepark cause Im not 100 percent sure if thats the one I animated or not.
Found my X3 disk and Im thinking about animating the eye on the cylon raider. Thats if DBox is compatible with Max 2008

Hey hawkbs. Dbox has problems with texture mapping in Max 2008, I dunno if the problems extend further than that.. After importing models all uv mapping was lost on them.

Ok being pretty rusty on X3 I decided to brush up a bit and animated the Cylon Raider Mk2. Its eye now moves side to side and is a bright red colour. Please back up your mods before installing as I havent checked this with Xtended or anything else. In fact I went through some hell with ship installer as its changed alot and was playing up on me.
N.B.
You will need to Uninstall any previous version of my Cylon Raider for this to work.
Anyway heres the file hope you all like it.

I did replace it, but as I said, I ran everything, all my added ships and even went off and bought a Valkarie and Galactica and it didn't show any difference at all, except that the save game did take an age to load, but I was expecting that.
When nothing seemed to change either buggy wise or fixy wise I rammed the Valkarie into Galactica, watched them go boom and the game over screen (I'd forgotten I was still in Valkarie for turret testing), I then just went and replaced Dummies, heaved a sigh and went on to test the new Raider. Very sexy, save the engine glow looks like its off a disco. A minor problem.
