1) Maybe yes, but I must check source files of LC exp. If LC doesn't change some textures, it could be fine....Sorkvild wrote:Maaan this looks great, like a refreshed X3, less gray with more vibrant colors. Can't wait to launch new adventures with this mod.
I'm currently installing XRM with Lost Colony expansion, is this mod going to work with LoCo (new sectors)?
Second question, is this mod for TC as well?
One can only hope that X4 will be an improved X3 and not somewhat-modified-VR-ready-version of X:R...x3-AmModer wrote:I know other great space simulators and with better graphic quality. But I don't know space simulator with so much possibilities, ships, etc... Egosoft could take this game, add absolutely new textures, rewrite game to support multicore CPUs, make exe 64bit, make some good story, repair problem with freezing, AND that's all! Perfect game would be done....FriendlyFirePhoenix wrote:This mod is great and makes it far less embarrassing to be playing an approximately 15 year old game (just kidding, I ain't embarrassed at all). Well done x3-AmModer! Look forward to IEX compatibility.
Thanks!x3-AmModer wrote:IMPORTANT MESSAGE
On the 30th of August I'll issue some patches:
1) For both existing versions (Original and LU)
2) New versions for XRM and IEX (with original nebulas / with nebulas from IEX - without change)

Good question...FriendlyFirePhoenix wrote:Thanks for the updates x3-AmModer! Your mod really breathes fresh life into this game.
I use XRM, IE and IEX. Thanks to the patching efforts of Mythrantar it is now possible to play a game with all these installed (check out his sig in https://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php ... &start=105). In that case which of your patches is the recommended one to use?
Yes, you have true. Good hunt of bugs.Sorkvild wrote:Looking good so far, although I'd suggest not adding more saturation to backgrounds, planets and stars. Too much glow also looks so unnatural, especially in low orbit sectors - Seizewell for example.
Also found non aligned backgrounds, applies only to this multi colored nebula.
