My work on modding Rebirth has come to an end. No matter how hard I try, this is a game I simply don't enjoy; for the plethora of reasons most of us are familiar with - so no point rehashing here. If there is ever an "X4" I may return to modding ES games, but at this point, this game is just not worth my time.
Thanks
Thanks

That's sad to hear Observe.. I was so looking forward to beta testing your achievements. We need expert modders like yourself to make this game somehow more playable but I do understand your reasoning.Observe wrote:My work on modding Rebirth has come to an end. Take care and I hope one day you might reconsider.
Another one bites the dust!!

That day has arrived.moon123456 wrote:" I hope one day you might reconsider"

With upcoming version 2.0, the game is becoming more playable and I find myself missing an external camera for looking at targeted objects or of my ship as it travels through space. Since this remains a missing feature, I've decided to re-visit this mod and bring into compatibility with the new game version. This will take me a while and is not my highest priority. The reason I post now, is in case anyone has feedback or suggestions how they would like to see the new version when I re-release it.
Thanks

Update: I think I'll hold updating this mod for a while because it appears Egosoft will be providing cockpit and external viewing capability before long. Once that happens, there probably won't be any need for this mod. There's no point me making the effort for something that will soon become obsolete.
Thanks

Hi Observe im trying to mod the monitor to show me the zone map instead of the closeup radar...
So i get a better feeling about the zones.
Does this make any sense
?
So anyway, i'm currently searching the files for a macro or something that triggers the monitor to switch to the closeup map view
Could you point me in the right direction?
Greetings Andi
