Im still waiting to for another modification that i cant make, cylons are fixed but just waiting for this bit. Once ive received it ile upload the update :)

It‘s nice that there is other stuff apart from fixes, but it's a pity that it‘ll require more time =( So the fact that mod is fully packed in CAT DAT is great about convinience and easy installation, but you can't just change smth in XML or just replace a few files=(

We‘ll w8 as always do =)

BTW... Reinstalled Diaspora just for some fun in w8ing for this mod and just remebered you‘ve mentioned that some models in this mode are from there... And if it's possible to add other models like Theseus and vipers ones?) They also made amasing cockpits... I'm not even suggest something, just curious about possibility :-)

Any 1 havenot menthion the blackbird isnt with texture?
About lag i tryed change the laser and took out point flack gun from heavy rider .. strange but the lag arent affected only from that weapon
looking inside i saw many error on laser cockpit (es assoult raptor prototype have 3 invisible weapon and only 1 normal wapon, i changed it to 2 oinvisible instead and 2 normal)
some laser havent the right bullet (in es: point_def_flack_gun, was with bsg_main bullet like railgun, instead bsg_main_flack or another flack bullet ..)

with this strange combination (i tryed change color but not work ^^" )
i saw the nuke effect when collide lag alot too


can u check all this pls?

edit: nice combo is change the flack guns and took out the flag from fragmentation.. and choose instead flak.. its look like real galactica weapons now

edit 2. i forgot to mention the basestar cylon lounch too many missile and this lag alot too, can u convert back to normal weapon? or change the missiles can lounch?

Im afraid you must have incorrectly installed the game. I have checked and the the mistakes you are describing are not present.... there is no lag around heavy raiders once there ability to have flak weapons has been removed, i have tested this multiple times!

The blackbird has very dark textures so its quite possible thats the reason why it looks like it doesnt have any!

Concerning the nuke explosions, the effect does result in a lag, the only way to change this would be to change the effect. The idea of the nuke is however to look and be powerful, so i think a lag every now and then (considering not many ships fire nukes) is acceptable!

I suggest you reinstall the game correctly, if you are unsure how to do this please let me know and ile help you correctly install the mod :)

yea, cat and dat files do make life easier installation wise but are rather a hassle when it comes to updates :P. Yes the cylon basestar is the model from diaspora including its textures! Its definitely possible to add in the vipers and the theseus, however i would like to keep some of the models we implement limited to stuff built by either current team members or people previously affiliated with a bsg mod for the x series.

All there models are fantastic haha !! I do actually have an amazing cockpit model myself, but i haven't been able to figure out how to build a cockpit scene, add in all the screens and place them in the game correctly.

if i remember correctly, the vast majority of the ship models used were actually coxxon's low poly BSG ship pack, i used some in a crappy 3D animation i was gonna make buy endeduphating3dsmaxafter2ndyearofuni

thats true, all of the bsg civilian ships still are from that pack! All military ships have however now been replaced with either models by ice dragon, or other members of the cry of the gods mod. I may someday replace all models with ones from similar places, as i have all the civilian ships! but that is very time consuming haha

getting an error with turbo booster. im in a viper mk 2, turbo booster hot key assigned and all that, but when you go to a split dock to buy one, the menu says that the mk 1 turbo booster is installed when it isnt, and the option to buy the mk 1 is greyed out, and the mk2 booster is purchasable but it doesnt work. Vanilla ships work fine with the turbo booster. Anyone else having this issue?

I didn't mean that existing models should be replaced. Just said about some ships not presented in this mod. Battlestar Theseus, MK VIIe (the big one for two pilots) and so on =)

Can be that down FPS can be because of that that game interacts only with one kernel of the processor?
(simply I read at forums) system at me such:
Prosessor AMD Athlon II X4 3.10 GHz
Memory of 8 Gb
Videocard GForce GTX 650
Windows 7 system

Why I have low FPS? :( :( :(

Ohh sorry haha i misunderstood what you had written! I see what you mean now

if you are talking about multythreading then your right, x3ap does not support this. although the current FPS Issues have nothing to do with your computer! i am running an I7 2.67ghz, 8gb ram and a Gforce GT 330M and with the cylon flak issue fixed i have no problems! So once i upload the update you should be fine :)

i have figured out the issue you described. It will be fixed in the next update :). however i can no longer guarantee that the update will not need a game restart!! But by the looks of it most of the bugs have now been ironed out :)

AMD FX-8350 4Ghz 8 core and GTX 660 and i get the same issues :P

Update has been uploaded! please download the mod from the links in mine or JCC's signature. Due to the nature of the update, i cannot guarantee that you wont have to restart the game! the changes are as follows:

Heavy raiders: ability to use flak weaponry has been removed

Resurrection ship: added to xenon shipyard for those who like playing as cylons ;)

Weapon balancing: Point defense, and Point defense flak guns fire rate reduced (they where ridiculously quick :P)

Turbo Booster: fixed now works again on the Viper MKII

This should render the mod playable to its full extent :) please keep the bug reports coming in. From now on any updates will no longer need you to download 500mb of files :P unless its a large one of course ;)

as in when you are given the coords to where the galactica is? Could you explain to me how you installed the game so i can help you troubleshoot the problem?

have another small issue, getting a za_emp_10123_ware_custom8_1_38892cr error, its the ammunition for the point defense flak guns. is there a quick way to work around this with x editor or did i screw something up?
