Is MARS turned on on AI ships? You did not install the little fighter drone mod file that comes with MARS?
CSecG is reported to be non working on AP, see last posts in its thread.
LazCorp Claim Sector is also extremely old and has some reported weirdness at times.
The other scripts should be ok. Please uninstall the above two scripts however and try again and report back.
I did find something strange in the gamestart file you are using (Argon Peacekeeper), but I doubt it would cause a freeze like that. Let´s narrow this down.

I uninstalled the two scripts, but the freeze is still there, and it seems the same all the time. In 10 to 15 seconds after I enter the sector it happens. Without the patch it doesn't happen.CSecG is reported to be non working on AP, see last posts in its thread.

Edit: Just to be sure, I've made a reinstall, being extra careful, and the game still freezes. First I thought that maybe the problem was gone, since I didn't get the freeze from the very first time I entered the sector, but after a few minutes it still froze. I have no idea what to do. I guess I am gonna abandon the idea of playing IEX+ XRM and go only for XRM

Edit2: I am starting to suspect that maybe the problem is with the ammount of RAM that I have. 4 gb ddr3 may be too small for IEX+XRM. How much RAM do you have, Black147?

I continue to be unable to reproduce that with my current savegame, but that was a Bankrupt Assassin start. However: Using the Argon Peacekeeper start, I got it to freeze right at the start in Argon sector 148. The sector wouldn´t even fully load, it froze immediately.First I thought that maybe the problem was gone, since I didn't get the freeze from the very first time I entered the sector, but after a few minutes it still froze.
I think I found the culprit and it is a mystery to me why it didn´t freeze in my save or how you managed to even load that Argon start and go to Circle of Labour.
Please get this, replace the old fake patch XRM/IEX file and try again.
The TSuns file has duplicate IDs on some suns, changing that fixes the crashes in my case, let´s see if it does for you too. If it does, Moonrat should fix that in his mod too. The TSuns file is from his package.

Thanks for picking that up, I'm surprised that no one else appears to have reported a crash before now either using XRM/IEX or IEX by itself?
I've also checked the sectors in both TC & AP using the corrected TSuns.txt which included those suns at the end of the file and they all appear fine.

Hi, I've noticed that the TC/AP Environments link above points to my IEX pages and not to your TC/AP pages. Just wanted to ask what type of timeframe needs to go into updating to the new version of IEX for XRM 1.20?

Yeah, seen. Check back tomorrow, I´m not quite sure yet what to do with the new XRM suns. Please note that the 1.6 patch version can be used with XRM 1.20 but you will not get the new XRM suns. I´ll see what to do about that and if they can be merged or if you´ll need to choose between either.
If you´re fine with the above minor problem, go ahead and upgrade to XRM 1.20. Everything else should work fine. I´ll leave the officially supported version at 1.19f until I have that sun problem sorted.

I apologize for the delay, but I have comp trouble atm. Until that is fixed I will not be able to post an update here.
The last XRM version I looked at was 1.20 and the 1.6 patch will work with it but you must run Paul's update scripts to add the locations/gates. I have not looked at 1.21 yet - if there were no map changes or using Paul's update scripts is sufficient to get all changes made, then you can continue to use patch 1.6.
Until my comp is repaired you'll have to figure out yourself whether the above works or not .... no guarantees.

There were no map changes in 1.21.
The main update in 1.21 was a major overhaul of the RRF scripts. These are pretty essential, so even if youre staying on 1.19, i highly recommend dropping the latest set of scripts in.
Although as Black147 (snooker reference???) said, you should be fine to update the whole thing and run the 1.20 and 1.21 patch scripts - just dont restart your game as that will set you back to the 1.19 universe (although even if you do its only one new gate link and a few ship selling locations youll miss out on - nothing game breaking).

I've just come back after a little break away from X and I'm trying to get my old plugin config back in order.
Just to confirm... If I setup XRM 1.23, IEX1.2a and this, I will miss out on some changes XRM makes when starting a new game? Even if I run any XRM update scripts it won't make any difference, the universe changes from 1.20(?) will be gone?
I feel so out of touch lol.
