So is this a standalone campaign with a different character? Or is it just another set of missions like the Aldrin addon?

A boxed retail version of X3: Albion Prelude will also be available for the PC early in 2012.

Might be worth waiting for stream xmas sales and see if superbox pops up for almost the same price as this, would also means my cd version of x3, x2, x1 will be digital aswell.

It is a space sim in the future.Say thanks they made it using a language used today and not klingon.

Goosebumps reading the update on the new add-on to TC and watching the trailer! Way beyond anything I was expecting from Egosoft this holiday season. Thank you!

I bought X3:TC retail but will happily pay the extra fee for Albion with a download. What a great way to butter up the loyal X series fans for a new installment of their favorite game. :)

THIS is why I support companies like Egosoft... They support the user/customer like no other. Of course I will have to wait to get my copy from someplace other than Steam but I can wait a bit if need be.

You know, it would be fun if someone go and track down every "I know better" posters who had slammed Egosoft (repeatly) in the past couple of months on issue like how to properly market your game, the PR people needs to be fired, XR is digging its own grave ...etc... and ask what they think. I don't think there is a better method than release an addon that will tie people over until XR.


This reminds me the one instance Bernd swoop in and answer the "Ask Bernd one question" topic after so many people said he won't ... I can't keep the sadist part in me from laughing. :lol:
