If my carrier is set to automated mode and a fighter gets destroyed i get a message from "unknown" with no text in it?!? :?

I've got this problem too, but i haven't installed ADS yet... Are you running any others mod?

Q: Why isn't this script in script library? Or am I blind?

As he said the download that was given at the start of this no longer works. Is there a new way to get this?

Hm, ok. Yes i have installed other mods and scripts. To much to remember them all and post them at work. ;)

You don't have to remember them all, just export list of them from plugin manager...

I've set up some ships as inactive so as they don't launch and yet they still do. Am I correct in assuming that all ships with weapons and that are undamaged will launch reagardless of activity prompt?

Hi,

I've just installed this script (I decided CODEA was a bit to involved for me) and my initial impressions are really good.

I am however getting the issue that was mentioned earlier with my fighters getting renamed "your ...." when launched.

I have 20 Solanos in my Collosus which are active in ADS and a few other assorted fighters which are inactive in ADS.

I use the 'rename active' command to rename the docked solanos. This works fine. If I then lauch the fighters using the 'clear sector' command the name gets reset to 'your solano'.

Initially I had the solanos split into two default wings. I have since removed their wing status and I'm still getting this problem.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi there,

Sorry for the lack of update over last weeks (well, yeah months, my bad ^^). I was finishing Pirate Guild. I won't answer all questions over here, there's too much and most if not all issues will be erased with the next release that will come in a few weeks. Here's a short changelog:

+ Added wing commands to stations
+ Added presets save/load to buy and sell commands
+ Corrected renaming issues
+ Better menu system (less sub menus, better gui)

Thanks - that sounds like it'll sort out my naming issue.

One feature request that I'd love is having a few extra options in the wing commands.

Clear Fighters is one that springs to mind, or Clear Sector - Ignore Capitals.

I'd love to have more control over which ships my wings attack. I'd like to be able to send out a wing of fighters to take out an M1's fighters while I concentrate on taking out the M1 itself.

Setup a Teladi Trading Stn. as an ADS facility. Homebased 9 fighters there. Setup ADS for stn. Clicked 'automated defense' (or whatever it was). Then some pirate guild fighters attacked some of my assets within 10km, but no fighters dispatched. Checked AL life: ADS active.

Any ideas on where I'm screwing up?

also, i noticed when i added this script it causes a ship ping sound before the game's 3D engine even finishes loading/initializing.

@paulwheeler: Yeah it should solve the problem. About the 'clear fighters' command, i may add a 'setup' menu to the clear sector to allow the player to set class/race target and what the ships should do when done. Not sure it will be included in next release, but it should be in the next.

@Hieronymos: Weird. As far as i can tell, there may be one explanation, ADS-Station doesn't monitor other stations for attackers so if the PG wing is small enough (3-4 ships) to be below the 'Threat' level of the ADS-Station, defensive wings won't be dispatched. Anyway, whatever the explanation, it needs some fixes. As a matter of fact, station monitoring is a good idea i will implement.

@lostsoulzeffigy: I don't use 3rd party libs in my scripts so the basic answer will probably be a 'no'. Sorry. You can manually remove the hotkeys by running the 'anarkis.acc.hotkey.uninstall' script before uninstalling ADS.

Is there anyway to get this script to work on the Valhalla? I can see a script that lists M1,M7,TL and TM as the class types, but when I add M2 I don't see the commands, so I assume I am not looking in the right place.

Is it easier to mod Tships and make the Valhalla an M1 maybe?

Took a minute to find this thread, it really needs to be added to the community list...

A feature request:

I know your scripts work well with MARS, and I was wondering (hoping), if you could set up the script to be able to also handle ensuring that the fighters get their quota of drones. I do it all manually at the moment, but with the number of sector defense outposts, escort TM's etc, it would be nice to have that included with the ware transfer. Any hope of this?

Love the script, works flawlessly for me so far, and am eagerly awaiting Yaki Armada!! (no pressure)
