I'm sick of this. Day in and day out I'm out waiting for this patch. Weeks of waiting. Weeks of wondering. I'm trying to stick to a diet here, and every time I want to check up on the patch situation I'm being forced to eat pancakes by you animals. I'm calling my lawyer. You're all going down!

In all seriousness though, Egosoft are probably working as fast as they can on this. The patch will be ready when it is ready and no amount of needling them is going to get it done any quicker in all likelihood.

Ok, so v2.50 is being worked on and will be released when it is ready, we really know nothing about the patch except the version number so I see little point in getting all worked up and impatient about it. If it really turns out to be an "OH SHINY" patch then there might be something to get excited about, but from past history we are only likely to know that when they are really close to releasing it. The fact nothing official has been said yet should speak volumes.

Yeah, I have no doubt Ego are working hard and will deliver us a good panc.. patch. In the meantime, I find messing around on the forums quite relaxing. This thread is almost like a panacea for me

This is why I "complained". I know there is an "announcement thread" about each patch with a sticky, but I came to this one anyway as i was expecting to read people at least talking about what this new patch could have or something along these lines... Instead, we got pages and pages about pancakes jokes.

But again, perhaps it's that I've been too grumpy lately as I said.

And I also don't get the pancake joke, perhaps it's that English isn't my mother language or that I just missed it after so many pages with the joke itself.

The joke started with Egosoft taking a lot of flak from certain quarters for the time the patch was taking, then I think this got phrased as taking a battering, and then went on to the pancake jokes (pancakes are a kind of batter mix) and general banter.
