sorry if this has been menchined before, but i downloaded the latest version of the mod and it looks very promising, installed it as the readme said but when im playing various parts of the writting say 'readmetext17-7000703' or another number. such as the messages frim the pilot, a SPP in argim prime and something in the equipment dock. how do i fix this?

No, the feature causing the sound problem is not really worth it unfortunately. But it is also hard coded into this mod so you either live with it or not. You can read on page 1 of this thread a little more about it. It's not my fault, this one!

If memory serves, the super carrier station is created and immediately destroyed due to proximity to a planet (9/10 from center to planet is too close :/). This bug is in the map, and can't be fixed without a complete new game. Rather than force that on people for something maybe most will never see I decided to leave it broken. This might have already been discussed, I understand it's not easy to search 36 pages of thread without a search feature though.

Ship debris fighting back, haha yeah, one of the prices you pay to custom name a ship - a feature last I checked not supported by the scripting editor.

On behalf of StormFront (can't forget that he helped on this mod too!) and I, I'd like to thank everyone who has played this mod. I wish you an enjoyable experience and sincerely apologize for all the bugs; you have no idea the feeling to have thousands of people playing your game then discover a bug that invalidates their saved games! OK, enough being sappy, just go on doing what you're doing - waiting for The Return.

That's more than likely because this mod is not fully compatible with X2 version 1.4. (it's an older mod)

I've created a new version of Clovis' Massive War Mod Fix for x2 version 1.4, this version was done without the sound patch and will not mess up your sound if you don't require the sound patch. The file can be downloaded via the following link:

Is it my imagination or are all the links to downloading this program on the 1st post dead

they either default to wierd pages of symbols or hosting not available messages ....... ????? !!!!??????

I realize the other links are just mirrors, but Im confused on what exactly to download. I want the massive map with the plot, which one do I get?

I only see "massive map without plot" & "regular map with plot". Which one has both the massive map & the plot?

Any chance of new mirrors?

I'm doing a full re-install of X2 and the links on the first page don't seem to work any more (well apart from the sound pack, but not much use on its own ;) )

Anyone got a copy of the full zip I can use for new custom universe games?

Well, i got a question: How can I deinstall this mod? I don#t really like the changes and this portable-radio-like speach at the beginning and the text message stays even when I dont play the mod.
