Station Selling / Gifting
Station Selling / Gifting.
I would like a mod/script that allows you, the player, to sell or gift your stations to other factions. For example, You complete a build station mission in RoC space, but you don't want or need the station, so you contact your stations manager, and ask him/her to sell or gift the station to the canterans.
Perhaps 50% to 75% of the build price for selling it, and lots of rep in return for gifting it.
This would allow the player a lore friendly way to get rid of a station in your control and to help out the local economies too, buy building the stations that are needed yourself and then transferring control of them over to the local faction.

If you use the following mod, you can accept build missions that need you to supply/sell wares to NPC CVs that build new NPC stations. That's pretty similar to selling a player-owned station.

You may be thinking of Yorrick's Astromech Droids mod but I don't know if that is up-to-date at the moment. You could try that and let him know in his thread.

thanks sparky, not quite what i was looking for, but via this, i found a scrap/recycle station mod on the workshop which is closer still. Not sure if someone already asked for this.....
1) Add more shipyards to uneverse to create larger sink for game.
2) Slow down ore respawn rate so ships need to surch others areas. Also it would come in handy with new warehouses.
3) Increased sabotage/hacking timers on stations. Sabotage stations for 10h or something like that.
4) Place bomb in to stations to blow it up (just like Xenon station). This should be new generic pirate mission. Destruction shouldn't be permanent.
5) Can someone improve ships AI ? For example Balors should stay behind and snipe from disclosure...
6)S/M ships fix them self

If anyone is interested - i have started creating a super shipyard for OL a long time ago. The Station is about 60 to 90% finished(depends how much you want to add), but i dont have any intention to finish and release this currently.. so if anyone wants to finish it just ask, i wouldnt mind to pass this to someone else..Nikola515 wrote:Not sure if someone already asked for this.....

Although it doesn't look like the Mission Computer mod lists every mission, it does work in 4.0 and it seems like it is only listing the shady missions that the vanilla BBS doesn't. I don't think your request is a bad idea but it doesn't seem like like we can't find every mission with that mod.I3laze wrote:Any chance a mod can be made to allow all mission to show on the bulletin board? Mission computer does work if you had bought the software pre 4.0 and are carrying on with that save game into 4.0. I wanted to start a new game in free play and this is where the problem is as the mission software is not showing when you go to a mechanic. The author knows this problem but will not be updating it for a while. Guess I'll have to wait, I only want to find the mission giver for space fly eggs.

It sounds like you're experiencing the known limitation that Mechanics in the zone you are in after mod installation don't sell the software. If you change zones, spawning new Mechanics, they should sell it. That as what happened in my test.
