I started to look at upgrading and so forth, figured I had a better bet on a home built computer. I can max out at 4 gigs but only got 4 x 512 sticks, I use 32 bit xp...hard to believe this thing was top class a few years back. I run x3 and any other game just fine except for ut2004 with the KF mod and DA2 mod in it.

I have the ability to link Stations to Nodes & Relays up & running
The new menu puts all the station/complex related commands in one place and is via the Node & Relay menu.
You can even link factories from within the same Complex to different Nodes/Relays.
From the menu you can see which factories are linked to the current Node/Relay, which are not linked at all and which are linked to other Node/Relays.
Under testing at the moment!

I'm looking at a board and That holds 24 gigs...was thinking of trying to do a virtual machine with windows and fedora or some Linux program as a base OS. However could have gone for two dual core Xenon processes and 64 gigs ddr2...but figured the i7 and dd3 with 24 gigs would be the same performance if not better. Anyway...
Hows the filters coming?

I honestly haven't had time to fire up X3TC at all this week. =/
In terms of computer spending though, I might spend ~1k on my next upgrade, but that will involve a tower, psu, most likely 2 vid cards, 8g ram, and either a 3ghz+ dual core or a higher end quad core, and at least 2 new hds.
If I don't do that it will just be the mobo, cpu, ram and 1 hd for now.
But before any of that, I need to finish paying off my credit card
(now that I finally earn enough to be able to pay it off >_< ), so hopefully this summer (and by then i7's should be down in price too
)

LA,
Awesome, awesome, awesome.
Your FDN package just keeps getting better and better and it makes playing X3:TC much more enjoyable. The fact that the new V3.1 nodes don't get "crunched" by Gazz's Complex Cleaner, and the addition of TL docking... did I say awesome yet?
I have a question though, I have two main production sectors. Presidents End and Avarice, I want to be able to use the excess silicon and energy produced in Presidents End to fuel factories in Avarice. The sector, Trinity Sanctum, is 6 jumps from both PE and Avarice... if I place a XL FDN there, can I share resources between the two? Is there a way to do this?
Thanks for a great mod!

Not currently, but the next update to the beta will allow limited Node to Node connections, a bit like how docks link into a Node, but node to node.
WIP at the moment but shouldn't be to far off.

Based on what you told me if he puts a relay and adv sat (if needed) in each sector and links them to the xl node I would think then that the node would supply both sectors.Logain Abler wrote:CheersThe Warspite wrote:LA,
