Shadow Warrior free on Humble Bundle HERE

I bought it a while ago, and if truth be known it was because it featured 'The Touch' by Stan Bush (from the Transformers the Movie soundtrack) I've bought games on lesser whims,, fun doesn't take itself too seriously FPS game.

There are a couple of these sorts of sims games going on in dev, but this one is free.

I really like this sort of sim/tinker/fiddly-bit kind of builder. It reminds me of the great ship design capabilities in Stardrive 1.

An on-topic open question regarding "how to" on Steam:

I've heard many lament on this subject, but haven't found a workaround:

If I wanted to "gift" someone a copy of a game that I already own, like buy it on the marketplace as a gift, is there a workaround that would let me do that?

I suppose I could open up a new account, perhaps, but that seems ridiculous. AFAIK, there is no official way to get around this problem.

Any ideas, help, walkthroughs or did Steam finally fix this?

Not sure I understand right, when you buy a game that you already own you can only buy it as a gift. It goes into your inventory or you can direct send the gift when buying.

You cannot gift games that you own in your library afaik.

Exactly as Kreetar said.

Add the game to your cart, then go to your cart and select "buy as a gift". (The buy for myself option will be greyed out)

Weird... When I tried that before, admittedly a long time ago, I didn't get such an option. ie: I couldn't buy any game that I already owned, even as a gift. The option just wasn't there to add/buy it.

So, I just stopped thinking about trying to do it that way.

It's somewhat ironic to put a quote into the game's description declaring it "One of the most gorgeous games in the Windows store" (without giving any source), while the game only has a 3 star rating.

An application with pretty graphics doesn't necessarily mean it is good overall. The description goes on to say that it has great visuals for a flight simulation, but doesn't actually say that it is also a great flight simulation.

I see that its rating is fluctuating between 3 and 2 stars now as further reviews arrive. You can't really complain or expect too much over a free offer though, I suppose.

From what I understand, reading the initial release views, the game is gorgeous, but it's not what sim fans would have wanted to see from Microsoft, which has a good history of producing good flightsim games. This one just "isn't it" in terms of a next-gen flightsim, even if it's pretty.
