the problem with my promethius is the number of docking posts, the ts for some reason was set for 0, so i knocked it up to 1 and the bs docked with the ts. thank you all for your help and keep up the amazing work, all the ships i have put into my game are so realistic, i can fly around in my promethius and think i am watching star trek itself. Kriss and Magrathean Monkey did all the hard work, I just reposted the advice Kriss gave me but, glad it solved your problems ;)

I know Kriss has been really busy lately. He released the Borg cube early [minus a few features like docking ect as I recall] but, I'm hoping he's working on completing DS9. :)

I have my Legends Home sector, complete with PHQ, SPP/BOGAS complex, Federation Drydock and a couple of Equipment docks. Just need DS9 to make my sector complete [hint hint @ Kriss lol].

Personally, I think Egosoft have kidnapped Kriss and have him slaving away on new ships for X4 lol :)

I'm a big fan of star trek ships for X3 but i miss the Enterprise NX-01. Can you build it?

They Dont Show Up

i downloaded your ships last night and installed them all using spk installer and then i enabled them all. problem is that none of the seem to show up in any shipyards etc. i am running xtm with a few other mods. have you got any ideas why these are not showing up?

I dont know if anyone has posted a reply in this topic for this problem but i dont really have time to search through it.

With the Oberth Angueria Super Freighter, it already comes with the Fight Command software MK1 and MK2.

Consequently when you look at your installed ship extensions, neither of the Fight Command softwares show up.

I've tried to buy them but when you get down to the software that you require, the game says that you already have both of them installed.

This is particularly annoying when trying to start my Oberth on being a Universal Trader.

It's just not possible.

I've even ejected both Fight Command Softwares out of another ship for my Oberth Angueria to collect. However when the wares were collected, they just seemed to disappear.

I've had a look at the raw details of the ship in the Plugin Manager but cant seem to find anywhere to remove the Fight Command Software.

Could someone please have a look at rectifying this or guide me through the steps of doing it myself.

I'm not sure why your ships will not show in up in the shipyards.

Ok i have removed the Fight Command software MK1 and MK2 and updated the downloads.

This is not really a problem.
Before you install an XSP, you can open the XSP with the ship creator (included in the pluginmanager, so you should have it).
Klick "customize ship" and mark the register "model". There you will see, that Kris's ships all have no engine sound chosen (marked by a 0).
If you take the Dominion Dreadnought for example, choose the sound 102, it's the standard for big ships. After doing this you can define the minimal and the maximal sound volume. Make it as loud as you wish, close the ship-customisation-window and save the XSP. Install it- done!

I hope this will help you.

And make sure that any XSP you will change is UNinstalled from the pluginmanager profile before (!) opening it per ship creator. Otherwise the Pluginmanager will crash.

Kris already tried to convert a model of the constitution refit and failed at that because of some trouble with the compatibility of the model format.

And we all don't know if he's working on a mod or playing WoW at the moment :D

thanx for letting me no mate i'll keep an eye out for any Constitution class refit mod and let everyone no if i find one or if i get the one i was working on to work same with the ds9 mod

There was a Constitution Refit XSP in the german forum, I tested it ingame.. It's been done by a modder named Gandalf.

But the model is of some bad quality and the ship doesn't even have a working docking bay, so better wait for something better..

There is nothing to fix because the docking bay was never there.
You will have to work that out on your own completely.

The only good thing on that model is that the weapon hardpoints are quite canon (unless the up- and down- turrets would have been better as right- and left-turrets).

If you mean the U.S.S. Yeager out of the Saber class:
Gandalf has made this one, too, but the quality is more bad than with the Connie Refit. Unless the Saber is Gandalf's most cool ship all in all..
DS9 should be included in the UFP mod, but it's difficult to find a download link that works, and you will have to get permission of the modmakers to extract the model.

The only other good ST-models will be found in MM's topic:

I personally think that it's a shame that nobody made the TOS Connie yet...
