Do you have a folder called Mods in the X3:Tc directory ?

Do you have any other ship mods installed?

Nope, vanilla install patched to 2.6 except for MARS fire control addon. Would that affect this negatively? Also, I hate to clutter your thread with this stuff, can you PM me a way to uninstall your throwback ships this so I can reinstall it?

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere, but I've been on a bit of a break from X3:TC for a while, so I'm not really up to speed on what has been going on with the mod (before I updated my most current version of X2 callback was 0.9).

It says in the op that docking has been added to M1s, but I've tried out the MK1 Zeus and MK1 Raptor, and while the game does now say that they have hangers, it won't let me dock with them (they don't even show up on the list of destinations if I try to do it via the command console).

Chances are they are ships that were created before i gave them docking slots. Try and leave the sector then rejoin that should give them the ability .

If that doesn't work try cloning them should work.

Didn't work.

Looking at the ships more closely, they don't really look like they have any access points (even though hanger space is noted on the ship stats); is it possible that the game is still trying to use an older version of the mod? I have selected the current version in the launch menu, but I still have older versions in the mods folder; should I be deleting those?

Sounds like the game is trying to use an old model but if you are selecting the latest version of the mod you should be fine.

Can you start a new game a cheat the ships in and see if they have the docking ports?

Nothing that I can see.

Of course, I'm assuming that they are supposed to have some kind of X3 style docking bay; all I'm seeing are the same flat round plates that were on the ship models from version 0.9.

Regardless, I still can't dock with the ships; I've tried a decent variety of MK1 carriers and fighter types, just in case the game's simply being fussy, but nothing works so far.

Going to try re-installing it, maybe one of the new files just didn't take properly.

Hmm all carriers should have a blue force field to which you can dock into(same as shown in the pics in my ship pack thread).

I have no idea why it is not working. I will quickly test it my end just to make sure it is working 100%

It appears I may of missed 1 or 2 files in the latest mod (ones that show the docking port). Can you upload any older files you have? (Just the cat/dat) As I deleted all the older versions as I had far to many files.

File up load worked but the version is too old. Need a 1.05 really. If no one has it it will just take me a bit longer to fix (next few days) instead of being able to do it tonight.

New (if relatively minor) problem; I just picked up a MK1 Jaguar, and there seems to be a big square missing from the top of the cockpit.

Looks like some previous owner spaced himself trying to install a sun roof :lol:

I'm having a problem with the mod. I installed it and the ships have shown up in game (the pirate guild is using them) but none of the shipyards have spawned so I can't buy them.

When I initially started the game I'd forgotten to enable the mod but I've got it enabled now. Could this have caused the shipyards not to spawn and if so how do I fix it?

Hey killerog. Great mod, but is there any adaption to the german version available? I can identify the ships by their classes but those readtexts are quite annoying.

BTW: it's annoying not to have the ability to search certain threads as well as it would make searching for answers quite easier, but thats not in your hands of course ^^

No German version but to get the English text in the German version all the need to do is change the file name of 9950-L044 to 9950-L0 German number (not sure what that is).
