A couple screenshots of the new Crystal Fab L stations. (I get the feeling I've seen this kind of station before, but I can't place it.) There's a normal crystal fab near the L for comparison.

There's a new Screenshot of the Week online :) This time it was shot by me. I actually was just testing my new gfx card driver where I made this screenshot. I wanted to make the reward of the Treasure Hunt plot, which has been added in 2.1, to this week's SotW, but this could have spoiled too much, so I had to switch to another screenshot. I hope you guys can understand that :)

I doubled the size of star textures for the entire game and now i dont see the skybox so close to my nose. Then i made some changes to the backgrounds, city lights and some teladi and split arts.
Now the split have green lights and teladi yellow ones , more alien looking and diverse. Its a question of taste and fantasy.

Legend's Home is a pretty place..
I like the blue in Heaven's Assertion, as well

The shipyard in Queen's Redemption is always worth a snapshot or three.

You've inspired me to try and pose a few ships with it, see if I can get something out of it. :)

wow, at that resolution, Terre - you should go for some "speck-in-the-distance" shots..
- you'd get a tremendous sense of depth..

- I love those dances the ships do when they dock in exterior-camera view..
- a few vids of those, set to the Blue Danube would make a nice montage.. :D

I'm sorry that I couldn't upload the SotW yesterday, but I had no time. Today I've choosen a screen that MadGizmo sent to me some time ago and which is really nice imho. So here it is and I hope you like it :)

MadGizmo's screen shows an Agamemnon in an UFJD sector fighting against a Xenon K. Hope now it's easier to understand what it is.

Get a google account and start using Picasa. 1 gig of free storage, no resolution limitations and no more expiring images. (Just make sure the galleries you want to share are set as publicly listed)
