Actually not. Rhonkar's Fire is much more central. (but not empty) Besides, that (Unk) sector belongs to Boron's in my game. :cry:

While pretty much every sector is "same old, same old", the position of some sectors is delicious. For example, the X347 and X472 seem to challenge the trading of some players. That is good.

I do wish for "deviously clever" additions. :wink:

I made Seizewell my own sector. Because I like the music there so much.
I've taken all stations down with my Armada of Centaurs. The sector is even more central than the one you mention, and it's close to the main Argon region.

But before I place my own stations there I'm first removing all small asteroids (with 4 automated Mercury's). These obsolete rocks are fatal for my framerate and I hate that. When the sector is clean SEIZEWELL will be my perfect home world. (With lots of Bliss Places, together with the nice music... :wink: :D )

The Unknown sector at 8x8 is part of a BBS quest that allows the player to purchas it if he has enough credits. Winning gives the Player the right to name the sector, as well as a Trading Station

The no CD patch with the upgrade

When the Bala Gis patch comes out it will have the no cd patch with it,so if it is ready any chance of releasing it as a one off a bit early,the old one :D :D :D

Don't count on it !

There is no need for the devs to use extra time in ripping out a single feature to release as a single patch. It would merely cause all ongoing projects to be further delayed !

Theres already a great place to make own sector. It`s Unknown Sector next to Montalaar, it`s as central and neutral as your going to get. Smile
Agreed, as a sector to set up camp, this one takes some beating as its the only one that isn't so remote that it is likely to be vistited by traders etc. The only downside being the Pirate base located in New income, meaning my holdings are constantly under attack.

Luckily due to the amount i've spent on them, they can take care of themselves. Nothing like having a couple of corvettes and a whole wing of nova raiders patrolling to teach those pirates that crime doesn't pay :fg:

But overall, still gets my thumbs up and will house the PHQ when its released

Pirate Bases can be "persuaded" to move. :twisted:

IIF the patch fixes certain things and IIF that makes a restart feel good enough for me and IIF the sector ownership resolution is favorable and IIF the PHQ has suitable features THEN that could be a place for PHQ. After all, we do not even really know yet what the PHQ can do for us. "Location, location, location" is the mantra of the successful builder. And "patience, patience, patience" helps the wait of free sweets. :wink:

The patch does not require a restart, but my current game has some Boron called BurnIt! as owner of Avarice. If I desire to change that, then I do have to restart. I will install the patch. But I do need a plausible reason to restart and not just keep playing the current game. I will not restart on 1.4.03. Does that make sense?

Will the Bala Gi research Mission be mission dependant? As in will I have to complete the main mission before I can do this one, or can I play this with the mission disabled. As I cheated and messed about after I completed the game, I don't want to ruin this bonus content so im wondering if I should complete the game again now and get race rep etc up now in preperation, on a clean Egosoft only content game.

I realise that it will work on any save as stated, I just dont want to play it on my modified game and Im wondering if I can play it on a mission disabled game - starting from scratch. Sorry If my question is not clear but I think there is some logic to it, maybe that only I can understand but hey!

It will work with Plot or non-Plot games.

It can be played concurently with the Plot, but you don't have to.

I don't know, you spend ages waiting in a Q4 the Bala Gi bus
then three come along together.. it's always the same..
only last week I was down at Tesco's - every little bit I spend
helps them apparently, and I know they need the money, and
I've got this pain all down my left side, the doc says it could be

Sounds like hes gone Bala Gi crazy if you ask me. The things people do on these forums to get attention eh :roll: I reacon that they shoudn`t have computers in nut houses :wink:
