What features are missing in X3?

If no-one has noticed a new station being built in all of the sectors, does this mean the feature is missing?

Hmm... shame we can't get told if it's in or not! I'd assume a station will just appear, and could be in any sector at all - the fact that it may not have occured in anyones game at present doesn't mean it's missing though... like I say, shame we can't just get a confirmation though :)

Natural Disasters:
There *DO* seem to be some control scripts for natural diasters present in the scripts. I don't know their precise function, but the groundwork appears to be in place, and is either already enabled (And nobody's seen it yet), or will be soon.

Tugs:
There is an upgrade item called "Tractor beam" in the equipment list, I havn't tested if it's functional, but it appears there's a placeholder for tug hardware. (This said, there were some redundant items like cloaking device in X2 that never moved past placeholders)

Only a dozen new sectors
Don't forget, they revamped every single existing sector too - I havn't gone much past brennans triumph yet and it's been a whole new exploration experience. It's more like a hundred new sectors when you consider just how new and varied the old sectors have become.

I think this is exactly what should be happening, a list of good ideas of things the community would like implemented, done in a mature fashion with no blaming.

I would imagine that the developers need and want feedback, as long as it is done in a constructive way.
Er...we are currently working our way through features they said would be IN X3 already and currently they are half implemented or not implemented at all. Unfortunately some may take a while to find out.

New suggestions are fine but dont belong in this thread.
