Well the backgrounds put me at ease I was worried from the video that they would be to bland.(not counting planets)
I would rather have had a question a day answered untill release

Looks like 4 guns in one bundle, and that side-shiny thing is a turret. I wish I knew what class it is.

Those 'things' are not in the same position as in the first pic... Landing gear perhaps ?

They didnt move, if you look closely you can tell the distance between the front glow and the 'things'. They didn't move.
Hopefully the next pic will be of another ship, I think we'll have to wait till X3: Reunion or X3: The Demo comes out before we can anwser this one.
