hmmm it seems I have a problem...

when I lastly jumped from sol to sirius the nr of clicks to go disappeared from the bottom of me screen.

Does this mean I am in the proces of getting the same instantanious fusion drive as thet flashy "training ship" next to sirius' trading station?

problems with cashflow at the sirius soft metal refinery...


If this is a normal factor in yer model, you should make it possible for the trader to see the balance of a station if he has bought the trading systems extension. that way a trader can see if a trip is worth his time despite obvious shorts in materials...

Stations run out of money it happens, But do normal shops and factorys display how much money they have? :P

yup but this one never had any cash to start with me figures...

if it doesn't have cash to start with so it can buy the ore it needs to produce goods there seems to be a serious problem.


Why not let one of yer traders pass by and buy a large amount of its alloys...

All the stations had 1mill credits to start with, its just that ones been produceing so long that there currently no need in the market for its product, so when it run out of money and its resource gets below the needed, it stop produceing. There currently no black holes for produces and atm im to busy to be working on them.

then i guess I am stuck for the time being...

since me hold is full of stock a station needs and can't buy..

I'll check on a daily basis if the station's cashflow has improved through npc traders.

ok, just bought meself a new tin can. trade worked just fine. Now le'ts hope i can find some good deals...

Ha!

This time I have a real bug.

It is impossible to trade anything at the space yard.

Reason:

When I traded in my old tin can for a better tin can (this one is of recycled steel instead of the old aluminum one) I got a new basic engine aswell. the old basic engine which was in the older ship got transferred to the resources while the new engine wasn't substracted from the stock of 100 available engines.

Result:

Right now there are 101 basic engines for sale and anytime I try to sell me energy to the station I get the message that the trade can't go through because there are more engines in stock than can be stocked on the station.


solution:

don't transfer the recuperated parts of a sold ship to the resources.


Just funnel the bug reward into me trading account ok?

Shipyards are big stations :P They can store alot of resouces :P more then normal its a coded in that way :P and its a shipyard, ships are MADE from the resorucse on the station BEFORE they are put on market :P So its not a bug its the way i chouse to code it :P In turms of not being able to trade atm i've deleted the line i forgot to delete earlyer :P

Problem remains. I can't sell my energy cells because there are more than 100 basic engines in stock...

Atm yes but im going to edit the code so that even thought it can store more then the normal max the price will be worked off that max so it would be better to take them somewere else, like the trading dock.

got another question. I bought the intersystems engine. Now if I move from one station to another three blocks further it takes 2 ticks to get there and 1 tick to dock at it. so i actually loose a tick. wouldn't it be better if the docking prcedure could be moved in that lost time?

as always, just a question.

It takes 1 FULL tick to dock regardless of how quick you get there :P
