[#3507][7.50][Linux][LAG] Perfomances issue after playing for a set amount of time

Okay, so enabling the steam overlay does seem to solve the issue.

Since xAix1999 couldn't be bothered to link to their sources, I did the search and found related issues on Valve's BTS pertaining to vulkan games and input lag:

I'd be curious to know if this issue triggers for anybody not using the steam client.

I can report, that I could not play for longer than 1 hour and 45 minutes with mesa 25.0.2, with mesa 25.0.3 it was between 40 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes with steam overlay deactivated.
I have now played for two hours without any stuttering like before after activating steam overlay with the same setup (mesa 20.3).

So deactivating steam overlay seems to be the cause on my end to for the stuttering.

Hey folks, a fix for this issue is coming with the next Steam client update. Currently available in the Steam beta.

With today's release of the steam's client update, this issue ought to be solved.
