Wait, does that mean that you guys anticipated the usual gog delays and already submitted the binaries to them / will do so before the 12 ?

In other words, that us gog players will also get KE (and the, I imagine, related main game update) on the 12 ?

Just spotted the release trailer on Steam, and it looks ever more impressive. - It shows there as releasing in ten hours from the time stamp on this post, but GOG (where I'm located) only has TBA and no launch trailer!

I... I am not gonna miss out, am I?

Nice, Steam still says "coming soon" for me, but Green Man sold it to me (for 20% off) and it activated in Steam just fine.

Ok - I bought it on GOG, and I am downloading the full version now. Let's see how it turns out to be...
One thing bothers me though. While downloading I noticed that the files where marked as version 6.0/KE RC3.
That's a bit strange, because that RC3 looks like standing for "Release Candidate 3"? Should that not be the full released version?
Weird... How does that compare to the Steam version?

Anyway - Waiting for the download(s) to finish...

If you're downloading the non-Galaxy version then the version you will have for the next 24-hours has a couple of minor fixes missing, but nothing that should affect your enjoyment of the game. GOG have told us that the final version will be ready tomorrow (for reasons I explained here, if you're interested), and you can update again then to get everything in line with what's on Galaxy.

Note that the version on GOG Galaxy is fully up to date with today's release version.

Ok - Something weird is going on. On my GOG download page there is a download for 6.00/KE RC3, while on Steam there was an announcement that RC4 (Release Candidate 4) was available.

That means we on GOG have gotten an old release candidate as the full release version? That can't be right!!!
