So an ARG drone carrier Cerberus actually made it into Tharkas Cascade XV today.....and then it proceded to try its luck against the Indestrucatble 'Roid....so pointless even bothering to fly through the gate

And still ARG haven't tried to Build a Defense station in Tharkas...the only Race not to have pushed into Xenon Territory

Keeping map open for some minutes -> FPS dropping to single digit then likely CTD.
EVA bug -> UI issues, then CTD
Random CTDs i cannot link to anything, but i wasn't even trying to figure it out tbh.

All started on 2.0.
Go to filters in your map and remove them all, see the magic happen with your FPS, then re-enable only the filters you need, or only a few of them to keep your FPS at manageable number.

Hey there
1. Honestly i never had these issues,althou my fleet is rather small with like 40-50 ships in a wing,but defense drones like to wander around,while ships are sticking to the wing leader
2. Mostly 2 Defense platforms per faction in a sector,and only in dangerous/contested sectors.Production stations are also being build,at least in faction owned sectors
3. Argon in my game are patroling and sending ships to sector with Xenon neighbor and Holy Order on south side,thou they dont fight each other much.My game is rather peacefull.
4. Seen Argon and Teladi attacking Xenon stations,not sure how they act against other factions.As said above,i have very peacefull universe :( .
5. If you mean stucked sound when autosaving,i did not had it since patch 2.0
6. Sorry,no idea what is EVA,but never had camera issues,apart of when geting stuck inside asteroid/ship/station
7. I had no crashes since 1.6 ,am playing on old PC setup "7years old" with 2gb graphic,and i dont experience any glitches i can think off or crash.Game is smoother since 2.0,am only geting low FPS when am in sight of looooads of pew pew,like i have around 150 turrets and 40-50 ships in wing + NPC ships and all this is fighting Xenon invasion with 3Ks + 1I and some small crapies.In this case it dropes a bit,but still pretty playable.Either game is very optimized or i got graphic details low :)
8. what you mean?Am selling materials from my wharf aswell as using em.Or you mean like salvage ships for materials?if Salvaging,i dont think it is possible.
9. Sadly i dunno about max range,but i usually got 3-4 range on 2-3star piloting.On paper it sounds bad,but actually its quite ok-ish,just spread auto-miners/traders and stations a bit
10. I never had any gamebreaking bugs.Most issues with the game in my case are lack of content,small annoying bugs and overall lack of QOL improvements - like easier and more controls "including station building/management!!!" of your Empire

This had nothing to do with filters, happened with or without. I have an okay fps even with all commands on - this gradual drop once triggered did not vanish when closing the map.
As i heard it got fixed in 2.2.

New gamebreaker....Guild ship spawn...now have more abandoned ships In SC11 than Live ones.
And they are infecting True Sight and Argon Prime
The reason I call this Gamebreaking is the sheer overhead on resouces for all those Mines and the fact its almonst un-navigable around the entry points.
before 2.2 they did not spawn this much..everytime I enter more get added.

It is getting to the point I may have to suspend operations and keep playing from the same save point over and over but that gets old quick

The abandoned ships will never stop spawning, hundreds of them and their minefields all over the place. The only way to prevent this is to not join any guilds or war efforts until the bug is fixed. This sucks as these missions are the main source of advanced/exceptional mod parts. The only other way is to wait for ventures or get really lucky with a random mission.

I do appriciate the free ships so far. Got half a dozen frigattes by that bug. Only thing is that if I claim them with a marine the equipment, like the turrets for instance, explodes. Is this normal?
I think they don't when I board them by myself,but then I can't transfer a captain without landing somewhere..

the couple I have claimed all need some outfitting and hull repaired..always have

If you brute force board them with a marine, they take damage. If you hack them first, they don't.
However hacking required you to clear the mine field first.

Fly into center of sector, claim all abandoned ships, leave sector. Everything works better in OOS. The boarding pods will magically teleport and claim the ships after a short time if you aren't in system with them. You can then select all the ships at once and then sell them all at once. However the minefields will remain and more ships will spawn again over time with even more minefields.

Yes, this is all correct. I normally take them by myself, dock them at the closest station and hire the next person I see to fly them to a space dock.

2.21 Arg wharf fixed...colosus no longer trying to resupply..back on patrol no ship building queue there either...still have 2 destroyers docked with WAIT command in ARG Prime and HAT 3


Update ..well that didnt take long the queue is still gone but the colosus again has a resupply command and is back at the wharf...what was that 4 hours????

I've not joined any Guilds, nor joined any of the War efforts, yet I still get ships spawning every few sectors every time I personally travel anywhere. At first this was quite cool, a free M-Class trader or Miner is quite a boon early-game. Now however it's getting a bit old.

I quite like the handful of fixed "free" ships - especially when they're a little trickier to obtain, such as the Odysseus. Free ships popping up every few minutes right next to a gate / highway however is silly.

Sure, I'm still claiming these ships, it'd be silly not to in the same way as deliberately ignoring the best price when trading would be. They still need to be toned down a bit though.

You may still get some abandoned ships but not nearly as many. The ships spawn whenever the mission for them is in the players mission offer log regardless if its accepted or not. Guild missions continuously generate these missions in your log that spawns these ships whenever you're in the areas they are offered. Otherwise they will only spawn if you fly past a station which offers it at random.
