Where's the manual?

The game has fairly extensive tutorials to guide you through your first experiences of various features. We don't, however, have a separate manual for it, so your best bet is to dive in and explore the game!

i have been following these Forums for years but after reading this comment i finally had to register.

Seriously.....being a Software Developer myself i really can't understand how you can recommend those "tutorials". They are buggy. They are zilch help for any Player that never touched an X game before.

When it comes to usability and structure those tutorials(tried several myself...good example is the ship modes one which bugs for A TON OF PEOPLE) are just horrible..sorry to say that out loud. But it seems those tutorials were given to some inhouse student as a part of his internship at Egosoft.

Not putting any kind of effort into a manual with a game of such depth and complexitiy is just ridiculously lazy.
