Trust me (i've played the beta), HOL has alot more content than the Teladi outpost DLC and is, in my opinion, well worth the money if you like X:R (especially considering what other companies charge for their DLC... like 5$ for a single skin pack).
This couldn't be more true!
More then a fair price for a good amount of new content.

I am beta testing the DLC as well and I would have payed 15€, maybeeee even 20€ (a bit harsh though). 8€ is really cheap!

And when comparing to other companies and their games where you are paying 8€ for a new vehicle, a special weapon (mostly objects already in the game but in PINK! COOL!) or whatever this is pretty good.

Also for the first time I would say that XR has a decent "size".
Those 3 additional systems now make 8 totally different systems in total. XR starts feeling to be big.

That's what i was thinking yesterday.
With 4 systems in the base game (while i'm quite reluctant to call Maelstrom a system since it has barely anything worthwhile in it... Xenons definitely didn't get enough love when the initial game was made!) it felt really, really limited and small, especially considering the connections of the systems (AL <-> Dev <-> OL <-> MA) it felt really like a giant two-way hallway (which essentially it was).

With the new gate connections from TO and especially HOL the game world actualy feels far more free and with a decent size.
Also, this time definitely more love for Xenons, yay <3

@ Ketraar: I think you missed some zones. I know at least once sector that's bigger than you said. :) But i think we shouldn't post too many spoilers here.

just seen this post, missed it before.

And that's why I'm NOT going to preorder, and pay a full price. If it's really that good I don't mind paying 2€ extra. I spend that much on coffee every day (coffee is cheap in croatia)

egosoft gets 2€ more, and i'm not buying die Katze im Sack.

2 € for a coffee doesn't seem cheap to me :P...in Italy it's around 1 € for a coffee (in many places even less) and 1.20/30 € for a cappuccino...2 € for a coffee everytime I take one, would make me bankrupt in a year :D

Ah yes, I missed that point...judging by that and your profession, my estimates for coffee price in Croatia are around...what, 0.10/0.15 €? Less maybe? :lol:

it's 1-1,5€ in coffee shops, BUT a 50 cups worth pack of coffee at the store is 2-3€.

So with the release of the X Rebirth 'complete package', does that mean we don't be seeing any more DLC released for Rebirth?
