I like that idea, she doesn't really bring anything to the story other than being the initial contact that introduces you to the Heart of Albion.

Seems that's a bit important. With Rens initial opinions about the universe, and without that introduction, we might just be fighting an inevitable defensive battle of defeat against a built-up army.

But if it means skipping or shortening the cockpit animation after you've sat through it a few thousand times then I'm all for it.

Didn't have much time to play recently. Checked the new update, love it. Only one (or two) things:
In the games main menu, in Bonus Contents, it says "Soundtrack Volume 2" and "Artwork" - but I didn't see anything in the Steam bonus content page (I have the preordered CE). Sooo, where can I download them?

Not for everyone...

If any particular individual believes the game is "unplayable" they should explain what makes it unplayable for them rather than simply making this rather extreme blanket claim. That is the ONLY way the game is likely to improve and become playable for such individuals.

The problem with placing the URV forge in the wrong area has been around for ages. It may have made your game unplayable but not everyone has fallen into the same trap, and a lot of people are playing the freeplay mode or one of the other new starts.

I would guess that not only are people aware of the issues with 2.0 many of them are dealing with a bunch of new issues thrown up by the 2.10 beta release.

I reached a point in the game which I couldn't get passed because of bugs and I found walking about the stations a tad boring, the lack of radar started to grate, etc. But the release of the Secret Missions version clears it up! Better graphics, a choice of not going onto the stations to hire folk, fantastic. Loving it!!!!!!!!!

Because 64bit version is just default. You don't need set anything. If you want play 32bit version, just play from XRebirth_32.exe file in main game directory.
