In the meantime, the following thread offers confirmation that using the mod without fight.attack.object.capital.xml offers a work-around:

Is this MOD still better than the updated Egosoft versions, as of 2.5?

As yet, Egosoft haven't introduced significant aspects of this mod, such as different movement behaviour for the Balor and Sucellus and in-sector jumping.

I believe that some of us have the view that it adds to vanilla improvements but the use of the mod with file above removed is very much a beta idea so it's for use at our own risk etc.

Might anyone know if CDOAIO without fight.attack.object.capital.xml is compatible with v3.0 beta 5?

I disabled the mod to see if the Balor/Sucellus movement code is improved with the new beta, but I find myself missing the in-system jumps.

Not exactly, no. It was last updated for version 2.10 and that version was still causing masses of drones to be launched by ships in non-player zones. Those drones where then getting abandoned, accumulating and causing lots of lag.

A work-around for this mod has been to use it after deleting the fight.attack.object.capital.xml file. That might still work but I'm not sure.

You're perhaps better off using one of more of the newer, similar mods that this older one inspired:

- Miscellaneous IZ Combat Tweaks (updated for v3.53).
- Miscellaneous OOZ Combat Tweaks (updated for v3.53).

Chronologically, this mod was somewhat reinvented by a second modder but I don't think that other newer mod ("Captain AI overhaul") is now up-to-date either. The two "Miscellaneous" mods above are probably your safest bet.

How I can clearly remove this mod? After I try it, enemy cap ship don't shoot me. Turret don't want to shoot me. I've turn off this mode in game, but problem has not disappeared. Maybe any parameters lost in save file?

Any tips on removeing this from the Save Games?

simplest way: Kill all Ships not attacking and wait for their Respawn ;) this should eventually resolve itself when the Ships not defending themselves are destroyed one after another. maybe accelerate it initially a bit, so ships which are attack are spawned.


EDIT: only talking about NPC Ships here for owned Ships it will help to replace the DO (tell me if not possible, there are also other ways to force this..)
