The new version is advancing well and it might just change how you see life in the X universe.
I am working on adding some factions that spawn in other parts of the universe.
for instance the heretic vanguards hate all that is terran , there for they hate the canteran , so they sometimes will send in some ships to fight them.

major corporations that dont have a massive tie to there government will have trade ships in other parts of the universe.

in the xenon core system , the xenon will have the smallest respawn time.
larger rogue groups like pirates will have a bigger respawn time (smaller than vanilla) but single or 3-5 ships groups will have near to non.

as of know the version I am working on is a loose file , when it is finished or close to somthing I am very happy with I will upload as an expansion file , if annyone wants to try the WIP version just ask and I will upload.

Hi, just tried your mod yesterday and ... holy crap ! Something like 20 pirate fighters wreaking havoc in the starting sector ! Shooting, big ships exploding everywhere ... I tried to help and started shooting a few of those guys and got killed in a few minutes (playing with Fight Reloaded).

Boy was it fun ! :D
If brute force doesn't solve your problems, then you aren't using enough

thats the way I allways thoght x should be , one of my best momories in X , was in X2.
I was flying in could base south east I think it was and there I saw a kha'ak cluster jump right in next to me , I was in a M5disco so I had to run but my ship being damaged was slow so I had to fight the cluster , I manage to kill the scouts (explorers back then) and leg it befor the m4-3 could get me.

know with this mod things like that will happen

New version comming up later today.
a companion edition to the more enemie mod , this one will be a loose file edited version of the Job file that multiply all traders and mil ships in the game , if you have the more enemies version they will work together but both can be stand alone

New version is out. Loose file (to be used with the normal version , or without)

To instale the loose file edition , put the libary folder in your root folder (were Xrebirth.exe is) and then enable the launch option -prefersinglefiles in set launch option on steam.

Gonna give this a try. Are the respawn-times "moddable" as in keep the fights coming often.

seems to me that they are.
I will edit them last time I did it somthing went wrong thats why I did not upload it.

After playing with version 3 for 20+ hours I noticed that many stations are burned down. Also killed 3 Xenon Destroyers #9 (or similar name) in Albion sectors. Could it be that this mod creates too powerful Xenon ships in unprotected sectors and half of the stations got burned until Xenon destroyers are killed by pesky station cannons?

thats a good thing rigth? :lol:
annyway , if you use only the more enemies one , you just get more enemies and well , also military but if you use both the loose file one and more enemies at the same time you get 2X traders , + more enemies.

if you would like a toned down version I can do it.

if you would like just more xenon in xenon sector again , I can do it .
just ask , and I will see what I can do

I am not so sure it is good. After another 50+ hours all stations will be destroyed and all production in the galaxy stops? Are these stations repaired after some time?

I was trying to ask "can the respawn interval" be modded?

I remember with "more enemies mod" having an issue that even 100x spawned once every two hours or so.

Has this been fixed?

the more enemies one just uses the base spawn times.
I am going to upload an updated version of the loose file one that has way shorter spawn time

I am using this in my game. I like it a lot but I am finding it really annoying when reivers just appear (spawn) right in the middle of the zone. Basically right on top of me. Is there anyway to change where they spawn? It is very unrealistic and quite annoying too because I have died a few times because 20 ships just spawn right on top of me without notice.

Mmmmm , well I only edited the spawn amount and some rare other settings but not were they spawn , this is beyond me....
this happens in vanilla but is much less noticible sins the lowest time for a spawn is about 30min.
however I am trying to learn MD and more skills for X and will not drop the mod there is already 2 new versions coming soon to choose from , if you want I could do a version were there is more enemies than vanilla but less than in the current version, up to you :)

I don't mind the amount of enemies, what I mind is where they spawn. They tend to spawn on top of me or on top of my other ships which mull around the center or so of zones. Enemies spawn right on top of them and they get swarmed easily. I have to basically park an arawn or something in the center of a zone, even then it isn't always effective because of the poor fight AI.

Did you also change how quickly they spawn? They seem to spawn rather quick too.

maybe just maybe it is possible to set spawn location to a station , if so I will do it , but I dont know how that would work out....

Just installed recently, 3 squads of Heretics spawned soon after but they were ANNIHILATED by about a dozen AG-fightersquads...

There is way too much defence-squads compared to how many attackers there is.

Respawn time is seemingly few minutes, good. However they should spawn at groups of 20+ imo. Is there a way to modify them to do so?

EDIT: looks like i spoke too soon... ~20min and no enemies... I WANT CARNAGE!!

the upcomming version has even shorter spawn times.
one probleme tho with bigger numbers of enemies is you will get some that dont do anything that just hang arround
