Reddit will be used for the AMA. DevChat will be used for chit-chat surrounding it. As the first post says, we moved the session to Reddit because the likely popularity meant we didn't think DevChat would be the right environment.

Bernd will be on Reddit answering questions as they are asked. Yes, it will be in English, but there may be people around who can help with translation from other languages, depending on the language of course.

I have no idea how to use that Reddit site. What does it do? am I supposed to sign up? What's the show 'proof' stuff about? Is that for the person answering questions or for everyone who posts?

How do I post a question there? I note there are already two comments... @ nearly 4.30 am in the moring here it just looks a bit too complex from me to cope with it atm...

I'll have another look at it but at the moment it's making me blurry eyed and confused...

uhm... due to the unexpected amount of Questions and the huge amount of Bernd's endurance... this may take longer...

(we need some additional translators (english <-> german <-> every other language) and some proofreaders)

Really now EGOSOFT, is it SO HARD?
Why can´t they just copy the command system from Skunk to somewhere on capital ship, so that player can command a capital ship while being inside of it´s safe heaven? It´s just so simple! Or they can simply give ability to talk with captain about orders while being in his capital ship, not just while being out of it. It´s just the matter of copy -> paste and some polishment, nothing hard for a group of devs! And it would improve the gameplay entertainment by 50%, and people who don´t like it can simply not use it.
