Finally, a release date.
Now I can see about buying a new PC. I don't think my Windows X-P is going to get "docking granted" with X-R.

I want to play the game without tuning down my graphics settings for a change.

I was a silent supporter of X-Rebirth since its annoucement, i tried to not get involved in all the drama that followed here, and now i'm counting the days till its gold

I am so excited.. I don't really have any words to express it, other than that I CAN WAIT! Its coming! I almost didn't believe it when I saw that little bit of yellow at the top of the forum.

Now after watching the videos, I cannot believe the work that went into this game! Everything looks amazing.

It's funny. This game was announced just as I was beginning law school. In May next year I'll be done. I told myself when the release date was pushed back that I'd get the game as part of a grad present to myself but it's pretty obvious I won't be able to wait.

And just in Case it isn't clear: in the time it took you to release this game I went to law school.

I'd guess that's true of a lot of people actually.

Dev time = 7 years, so they actually STARTED in 2006... which is when I started college.

Pretty long time ago.

Going from 2006.. I was 12 also. Joined the forums at 13 after having X2 for a year.

Been to secondary school and would of been at Uni by the time it came out (if i had not messed up A-levels forcing me to retake a year).

So much hard work put into this game.

Next question... When's Rebirth 2 coming out?

Hey, hope A Levels went better this time round. I kinda messed mine up too, didn't end up where I wanted to go, but you know what life's like. Looking back at it I'm so glad I am where I am and that I've met all the people I have. Also my course is going super.

Congratssss. Anxiously waiting for the date to come now!

Hope Linux version does not come long after main release, still will insta-buy it as soon as it is available.

Judging from Bernd descriptions this is the game I have always wanted, let's hope there are no major fun-killing bugs on release, or famouse huge slowdowns over time that plagued previous X versions.
