I deleted all the numbers and other lines, as it would be too long (some numbers are in front of what I've posted, so you need to scroll around a bit).
On top of the Tships there should be the line

50;375;
The 375 is the number of entries in the Tships (each entry is a ship). My numbers will only work if the positions and numbers of entries are the same, otherwise the Numbers in line 68 of the setupscript will still refer to the wrong ship. You can also take a look at the setupscript in the script-editor of the game itself, as you can read to which ship the script refer there.
thx for the notice about the thanatos being sold in paranid sy...really sorry for that mistake of mine....

so I tried it once more with your suggested numbers with the v2 of killerog file and I get all the 3 ships in the correct places. But I still get lasertowers in terran and paranid shipyards. It is not a big deal if this is the only thing that is messed up. Btw so the lasertowers should only be available in lasertower factory and not in any shipyards?

I am going to buy the normandy to test if it really works. I don't have credits to buy the lusca or thantos, so until I install some cheating script and add myself some cash I cannot test those 2. Still I am happy that it seems to work now, even if it has a small mistake with those lasertowers.

btw the TShips that I have in types folder is exactly the same as you suggested it should be. Both the numbers at the top and the last few lines are the same as you posted.

damn I forgot that I need to build up my rep for terran to buy the normandy...I am terran senatorial advisor and that is not enough....I posted in the normandy few days ago and haven't recieved any reply yet

noticed that the numeric ranks script does not work. Guess it is not compatible with 2.0a (guess there will be more of them. Also my game crashed once. Will try to unload the 3in1 script to see if it helps or not...

Will probably try to fix the joint file for 1.4 and stay with that version so I can use the scripts I was using. With my savefiles the game freezes after about a minute if I don't have them installed so I have no other choice than instlling them again anyway

EDIT: noticed that the numeric ranks work....I forgot that I was copying all the scripts to a test folder to make sure none of them are overwriting some other and I forgot to copy them to the game folder ;o]

I will try to play for some time working on that terran rep and see if the scripts I am used to work with still works...hopefully it will work

Maybe you have additional Setupscripts in your Scriptfolder causing the error with the lasertowers?

I got the lasertowers even on the vanilla version, so there were no other setupscripts

Well, I haven't changed any of the numbers myself. But the three ships I spawn via cheats, 1 of each, I commanded to dock somewhere and they did.

@m4t3y: than somethings wrong with your installation of TC, there shouldn't be any lasertowers in any shipyard in a vanilla game.

@Kharzon: spawning via cheats/script editor never was a problem. The numbers are there to add the right ships into the shipyards.

Right lets try again lol. I have wrote one script to set up all 3 ships(replacing the 3 before) And once again it all works for me.

Once installed run the script editor, find the script and open it up post here what values it is giving for $ship. Then try running it from the editor.

I've been playing for about 2-3 hours on the V2 for 2.0a and everything seems to work well apart from that lasertower in sy....got the normandy and haven't got time to test it enough, but I was able to dock my kestrel in it so so far so good

not in vanilla, but after aplying the V2 on vanilla 2.0a game

I will test the V3 later today....now I need to enjoy the game for some time after so many days of my x3tc diet ;o]

I think i removed them when i had a clean out of my folder. :oops: Ill upload them again when i get home (Monday) if some one who has the files could upload them before then that would be great.

yeah... well the reason why I ask is because it looks like you guys managed to fix some of the problems on these three ships compared to the stand alone files... lol trying to them out and basically getting what you normally get for the errors

ah upgrading to Win7 eh? well as far as I can tell it's better then vista :lol: I have Ultimate edition 64-bit... yay lots of freaking ram. Updates are also good on files :wink:

I think I had to edit some values to get it to work...I am just reinstalling my game and all the scripts and mods so I have to figure it out again, but since I am having very poor gpu utilization with my old save I am going to start all over again so it will take some time to get some cash and universe coverage to see if it works...
