I think all Lucike's scripts define the commands they use in their t files, so users can solve the command conflicts simply by editing the t file. The t file conflicts obviously cause a major mess. Ie a conflict is a conflict only when it really is a conflict.

Should show respect to the bloody dames. :|

I've removed the command and changed it to a custom one so it was easier to build menu's as i got bored

JDK will now be renamed as Upgrade Kits as they will now allow other Equipment to be installed

I've written the code and it needs a touch more testing but this is what UGKits will offer

The kit thing sounds awesome. But... Wouldn't it better to "divide" the Small/Full packages in 3? Trader package, combat package, and both.

For example, the Small Trader package would include enough for typical station freighters and the full trader one for ST/UT's. THe combat small one could include such upgrades for wingmen/normal fighters and the full for Capital/Officer/Wing leader ships.

Just a sugestion.

Turn the plugin off and you will recieve a short message that it is uninstalled, just turn the plugin back on and that's it

Please help me.I use UKG and it full all my ship's cargo.

I.E a new ship is 0/120 cargo.I use this item and now ship's space is 120/120.

how can I do?

Since jumpdrives can be a pain to get to ships bought in far corners, these have been a life saver before. Really the amount of stuff you need to micromanage with _every_ ship you buy is a ridiculous relic of the game progression, and just serves to frustrate. The additional upgrade installs stand to relieve this, but not quite, so maybe I could make a suggestion :

Instead of having some ready-made packets, maybe you could allow for the player to use commands in the menu to create their own custom packages of upgrades? Say, have a command that makes a template out of all upgrades installed in a ship. And then this set could be duplicated to any new ship with the kit? With the availability of say three customizable templates, most recurring needs should be covered 8)

Then you would have no trouble with different people wanting different stuff with their kits. :wink:

Cost of installing a template could be something like (total cost of upgrades)*1.1+(cost of kit)?

As it is, your ready-made packages are ok, but any fixed set will likely not well satisfy the micromanaging needs of most. Unfortunately myself included, and thus the utility remains limited to jumpdrives, which in itself is very nice, of course.

I am having the same problem as bbgun. When I activate the kit on one of my ships, it install the jumpdrive but fills the cargo space to the max with nothing. Eg. My MercSF with only one JDK installed shows 5550/5550 when its empty. :o

oh, and I sometimes have the ware text name problem too, but it depends on where, how I am accessing a list....

apparantly the SE when checking for "Get free amount" adds invisible wares maxing cargo for upgrades that should only count as 1, i've changed the code to check this

ttl, a fair idea but that would involve a very large library being written off the top of my head which i can't be arsed coding

the script looks fantastic, but for the game in mind, boron and argon are major enemies.

is it possible to edit one of the files, (the one in the t folder looks likely), to change it so that the fact pops up in split space?

I do not like to jump to conclusions, but since I have applied this update my game is freezing at random intervals, where it never did this before.

A process of elimination of course but I have uninstalled and will further test.

Thanks LV, thats sorted the freight size problem. :)

Still getting the wares name as ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM_7, but it depends on where I am looking. On the ship I remotely bought these items, it reports as Upgrade kit. It's fine too when freight exchanging. Once on my ship however, it reports as CUSTOM_7. Also when transfered to empty ship seen in their hold. :gruebel:

However it does install properly [only tested jumpdrive - not +extensions] :D

Hm, can't quite get this to work for some reason, have EMP installed and selected as mod, JDK is installed and working, as the station is there and it's stocking as well as TC. But what they are stocking is blank, and it's 0credits and I can't use it if I buy it...uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck.

I think I am missing something simple here...

I'm having that problem too. The buildings appear, but no main product is shown. The one in Getsu Fune says there are over 15 thousand jump drive kits for sale with best buy locater, but there is simply no "products" section in the menu. The corperation in Home of Light has the bar 0/10000 with no product name listed (strange?).

Hm may be conflicting with another script?

Not just me then. Same problems as last two posts.

Other scripts in use are the NPC Bail, Missle defence, Missle target hotkeys, Imp boading hotkeys, wing hotkeys, SCS, Adv missile Def, EMP, Commumity command config, scan target object, Space loot transporter.

i believe there is an issue with SCS and the plugin manager see those theads ;)

Yes there is a problem with Scs because even in script editor i dont see the ware name ( in the script place and in the ware window like if it simply vanished ) pretty please find us a good fix :D

Well getting rid of SCS did fix the problem, but I found a new one, it seems that whenever I open the plugin manager and close it EMP no longer works...if I reinstall it works fine, untill I use the plugin manager again. In which case I have to then recopy the files. Kinda odd.

Which is why it's nice for this info to be available to users here but the SCS and plugman threads are where these issues need resolving.

I have enough showstoppers in my own scripts to fix so i'll leave the rest to the others as i never install any other scripts than my own :)
