Ok, I got v1.2 installed and I downloaded and ran the program to extract the packet files. I can see the files in the scripts directory. However when I stop and start a game and goes to the TerraCorp Headquarters in Home of Light I see no MK3 Trade extension for sale, is it because I am docking with a Harrier (since my Elephant won't dock)? I would in that case expect
the item to be listed in red. More likely the script is not running, how do I verify that it is running?

Yes there are, for the first screen... what about the "file already exists" dialog?

I can take the following "educated" guesses:

Ja - Yes
Alle - Yes to all?
Umbennnen - ???
Nein - No
Keine - No to all?
Abbruch - Abort

Either way, its great to have add-ons but it would be wonderful if the "US" install had english button labels :)

I don't understand this logic. If a Player is in a sector, he can either use the Best Buy/Sell, or manually look through each station's list of prices, right?

An AI pilot can do the second method much faster so that it SEEMS like its getting the best pricing. Hell remember that the Best Buy/Sell upgrades together cost what, 50k or 60k? This software costs 500k! AND it takes a percentage "fee" for every 50k profit made. I think the initial cost can be considered to cover the cost of a Best Buy/Sell issue. :o

There seem to be a problem with Iguana and trying to pick up good from mines, since the manta cant carry XL objects, it just sits there in the mines, and not doing anything.

Uhh, the Split Iguana cannot carry XL cargo, hence the inability to purchase or sell anything with a volume of "XL."

The Boron Manta has no such restriction and IS capable of carrying XL freight.

Yesterday I finally got around to using this script. I bought two Manta's and loaded the software on their onboard computers and now they are successfully trading away. Very nice Burn-It. Your hard work is appreciated. :)

Script won't work.

I installed the script and the 1.2 patch and now I can't play. I get an error about securom and the exe won't run now.

I've emailed securom and egosoft, but they're taking there time.

Anyone have any issues like this?

For folks who are having the problem of the ships stopping trading after one run, I resolved this by setting those ships a home base. Once they have a home base they no longer end the script after doing one run with a full load of cargo.

Had this same problem with a pirate Orinoco, I know it can't trade XL goods, but it doesn't appear too. It had been trading for quite some time, mostly E-Cells, then, once the trade script had leveled enough, I presume, it went to a silicon mine and just sat there till I moved it. It eventualy found its way back there and again just sat still. I eventualy transfered the Trade Command over to a pirate ship i'd captured and this has cured the problem, I just don't know if its leveling again at the moment.

I'll try this tonight.
They are killing me right now as 4 out of the 5 aren't doing anything. I can't spend that kind of time micro-managing those 4 ships. I put them back on regular duty for a station in the mean time. :wink:

I have a half dozen or so trading and have for some time now. In the last day or so they have stopped making money. I don't mean they have parked somewhere and phoned home, they trade, they don't make money. In fact it looked like I might have been loosing money slowly. I admit I run SETA a good bit (not over night, it crashes when you try to save, big surprise) so I can see change fairly quickly. I have been watching my funds and there is activity, just no gain. I got a message from one of my traders a couple days ago. He had got stuck with a load he couldn't sell for a profit. The numbers he gave me were impressive; 28,179,575cr earned in 9136 runs. Since then none of them seem to be making a profit. I stopped them and then restarted. I guess I will find out if that helps. I noticed the problem after returning home from the movie LOTR Return of the King. As you are all well aware that movie is like three and a half hours long. Running on 10x SETA I should have shown a profit. I didn't.

Hi BurnIt,

Nice script this Mk3 thingy, although expensive.
But I setup two fast Caiman ships and had them run around in two sectors which have some of my factories in them. They run fine.

The Kingdom End one collected some Ion Disruptors which it could not sell since the Equipment dock only buys two, so it flew around with 6 of these.

Oh well, I order the ship somewhere, jump into the sector, meet up with it and transfer the stuff out.
As soon as I then order that ship to start again : Start Sector Trader,
the ENTIRE game hangs, replaying the current sound, no response whatsoever, locking up the screen so reboot required.

Lost an hour of play. So reboot, fire up X2, try again, and exactly the same thing happens !!!

How can this be ?

Could it be related to the other installed scripts ? I have M3, Autominer, Teladi 2.2c, Xai Jumpdrive and Osprey install.

If you want the savedgame of 50MB let me know.

Is this script compatible with the EU version of X2 ?

If so, can you make it available in the downloads section to users with the KOCH key please. :)

registered my game, but downloads section shows no files available.

(does it take a while for the system to realise I can access the DL section?)

Yea Iv had the same problem all mine have stop making money, and then they start losing money. I run the game over night at 10x SETA and some time upto 16hr+ in one go.

Yep had the same problem in Priest Rings, with Computer chips. lose about 1.5million credits with this.

Just thought i'd let you know, i've had a maxxed Mercury running sector trader in Friar's Retreat for well over a week now, so i suggest if you're having problems test it out there as it seems to be a good sector.
