Ok that script is very old and was a bit buggy, try uninstalling it, sorry, the mission wasn't that good really and was more a test exercise,I advise uninstalling, and trying to install this version instead.

Lol sorry, I meant the only one now available (I removed others as I consider them obsolete)

Its called Dock Upgrade Manager, It doesn't have the mission, but I didn't upgrade that version because it was pointless.

The direct links to the Dock Upgrade Manager are shown below

SPK version
ZIP version

It basically does exactly what the Equipment Installer did and more and much better, see head of this post on page 1 for more information

Russian translations by ChemODun now complete, so thankyou very much Chem :)

If anyone else is good at translations I would be happy if they could translate this for me, as yet there have been 80 download within 1 week and no-one has reported any bugs so I think its safe to assume it is finished.

Enjoy :)

Erm...I installed your latest version without ever uninstalling v1 and now I'm getting read-text errors left from your previous versions (I guess it's my fault). Any way to remove those read-text commands? Thanks a lot!

ps. Your updated Dock Upgrade Manager command seems to work though.

Edit: Oh! It just so happened that the time that I installed the latest version of your script coincided with the time that I disabled a Xai Corporation script, which cause the read-text. My mistake!

I installed your script and also an engine tuning license. I then upgraded my Centaur from stock 106m/s to a whopping 157 :D

Could you please restict the upgrades to reflect the stock values?

@ both, did you install a previous version of this, because if you did I may know what the problem is, I stupidly used a global variable to check wether the setup script had been run, and because I did not change this in the next version it probably is not running the setup script again.
Try getting rid of the part where it says "if global variable" and run the setup script again.

@ORIOLE - The latest version is not meant to do that, did you install the engine tunings manually? because they are not meant to be available, and if they are it probably is for the reason above because the new setup has not been run.

@Ezra - The messages are because it actually tells everything to dock at the HQ even the ones that already are, I never thought about those messages as I turned them off a long time ago, sorry I should have, I will modify the script so it only runs the command on ships that are not already docked at the station you selected. As for the personalising, I think that is for the reason above as I am sure I fixed that, I did release a version that did stop you turning them off but I thought I had fixed it in the newest one, but I will look when I get home.

Yes, thanks for a great script :!:

I installed v1.21 with Auto Stock enabled. However, engin and rudder optimisation is not restocked. Could you please have a look at this. I bought a new Eclipse and it should be able to upgrade both engin and rudders.

Thx,
:)

the only way to upgrade engine and rudder is via the auto upgrader, sorry for any inconvience, but if I restock these 2 items it means the player can max out the ship with as many of the item as they want, there is no way to limit this, the way normal docks stop you is not open to use as its part of hard coding, therefore if you just use auto upgrader it will max out the ship for you, I may make a mini add on soon that lets you install these 2 items manually but via a sub menu so basically you can add them one at a time but only upto the normal max amount allowed

I have just realised you can use the DUM to add more tunings than normal anyway, because if you use auto upgrade, then store the upgrades then use auto upgrade again you will have twice the amount of upgrades as before just you must take them from the stored station. Please don't abuse this, I will fix this either tomorrow or the day after

I installed "Dock Upgrade Manager" 3.02 and in the message panel to "select the item you wish to activate/deactivate" all categories will not change from "Turn On"

am I doing something wrong?

Updated 3.021-3.026

-> Removed Autodock Command running on ships already docked at the target station to stop multiple messages from ships with "Notify me when order completed" active being sent to the player.
-> Setup should now work regardless of previous installs
-> Engine Tuning and Rudder Optimisation are now not installed at the station, but in the memory, i.e. you can use them with auto-upgrader but no interactition is possible manually, to stop people being able the abuse the ability and put multiple installs on a ship far greater than the ships normal amount.
-> Command Slot Added for Shipyards for compatability with my "Player Owned Shipyards" script (work in progress)
-> Uninstall script added to hopefully get rid of HotKeys and command slots once uninstalled (will not work with previous installs "sorry")
-> Problem with customising upgrade groups now fixed (courtesy of ChemODun :) )

No problem

@ORIOLE, just so you know you can no longer see engine tuning or rudder optimistation directly in the docks, the only way to know if you have the license is to check on the license list when buying, or check wether it is being installed in your ships in the list of upgraded items when you use auto upgrade.
This means you wont be able to move engine tuning etc, about like before, this is so you can't just keep autoupgrading and storing the engine tunings in the station, then taking them from the station and putting all you have collected in one ship.

so, re-tested the script and worked almost flawlessly :)

One little bug :D

The auto-redock will call all ships that are not doing anything, not just the one in the sector where the station that has the script running.

It has called ships I had docked in a boron shipyard in ocean of fantasy. First of them went boom when trying to cross the Xenon Sector over black hole sun, luckily it was a captured damaged buster.

The rest of the features seem to work flawlessly now.

Awesome job, this script is on my "must-have" list now.
