I dont really blame him, hes had something which hes put years of effort into disbanded without a massive fight in 3 months, from members which really didnt seem to give a damn.

Of course most of the blame can go down to the leadership. The Alliance centered on CYVOK being a great leader rather then ASCN being a great Alliance. If there was better leadership, better use of their commanders, then victory would have been theirs.

lol All this news makes EVE seem quite lively. Too bad I have too little of a life to play EVE. (meaning I don't have a job, and my parents sure as heck won't pay for a subscription, fine by me tho) WHO makes those EVE maps anyways? I see them ALOT, are they made on the fly or does someone LIVE to make them?

At anyrate I hate BOB's guts just from reading about them and their exploits. I think it's the part of me that always sides me with the underdogs. So it's natural for me to lothe BOB being the top-dog... If I was in EVE I would try my best to distrupt BOB.

Wow Where to start? Was writing this yestoday but failed due to the INSANE information I was getting rolling in constantly.

Ok, lets start with the BIG stuff.

Allegations of Dev Misconduct!

As you remember, allegations against CCP and the Band Of Brothers Alliance involving Tech 2 BPOS (Think of them as "ultra-rare Items").

Some results are now in.

Spy reports from within BOB seems that they have made a considerable leadership change, with several members being removed from leadership. Considering many of those members are now under Temp Forum Bans after their actions, this is had to see what is happening there.

BOB have attacked the RedSwarm Federation.

The remaining alliances, now angered at the BPO scandel, and dieing for blood, have launched huge attacks on BOB space.

Me, Yestoday, under informtion flood wrote:D2 have moved 20 freighters, with 200 man fleet into BOB fountain space.

Also receaving reports of MM and Razor missions reported in the south. D2 have a mission to secure fountain, take PNQY and the other outposts and secure the region, then attack NOL.

Goonfleet and Red Alliance, along with Snigg, TCF, and other local regional alliances have attacked the -LV- Deklain Capital. Tonight over 60 POS's there have gone into reinforced and 500+ pilots reported in system-battle reports yet to come in. Their mission is to push back -LV- Leaving BOB space open.

AAA and others have been sighted doing increased fighting in ex-ascn space. Uncomfermed. (UPDATE: Reports of AAA moving for a massive attack.)There has been multiaple war declares on FIX leaving them busy with mercs.

Updated reports show Dusk and Dawn attack BOB and Xelas Alliance Outposts in fountain. The Imperial Republic Of the North have attacked FIX home space. -LV- last night defeated a massive RAGOON and Curse Alliance fleet. Total losses for both side stand at over 1000 ships.

Well. Err. Wow.

So everyone's pretty annoyed at BoB anyway, now they have an excuse to attempt to knock them off the board once and for all.

The alliances are busy whacking each other into little pieces, so maybe I could chat to my CEO and try and make this into an opportunity for a handsome profit. A well-researched Thorax BPO next to a warzone could benefit the carebears and alliances...

Many of my friends have quit over the bob dev scandal. The way ccp handled it was a complete joke and I've lost a lot of faith in them.

Ona serious side, i realy didnt see any way out of this for CCP once the alegations were made. If they admitted there were devs in bob: "OMG BOB = DEVS!!11!!eleven! no wonder they always win!!!" or if they said the allegations were compleate BS:"OMG CCP R BoB & COVERING UP THR MESS!!11eleven!!" The eve forum comunity are quick to flame and i feel sorry for CCP.

CCP get no sympathy from me. After reading ALOT of posts regarding this on many sites including their own, I am extremely happy they never got their hands on my money.

The fact that it took a third party whistleblower to get a reaction is enough. The guy and one of his coworkers get banned, and slap on the wrist is given to the dev. Who, btw, was a member of BoB. And not the only dev if kogo'something' is correct.

Thank you for SP games like X3, where corrupt devs don't matter that much

Amusing thread to say the least.

I think this has been blown far out of what it needed to be. This has simply ment that all the BOB haters which cant fight them ingame, think they are "uber" and therefore the entire alliance is cheating, have come out of the woodword (or sent out legions of alts), and started spamming. Becuase if you win on the forums you win ingame right?

I dont like BOB. Fact ive spent a large portion of my time, ISK, and ships lately fighting them and their allies. But quite frankly the entire thing is insane. If you consider this thing to be so gamebreaking then please, the door is over there.

Fighting BOB, they are good. But so are we. The final result, and what I belive was the intent of all this in the end, is the commuanty outrage at BOB, and the now considerable numbers fighting them. Are you mad? More then enough corps and alliances are now fighting tooth and claw against BOB. Go and join them. Leave all this TOTAL CRAP about lawsuits and stuff behind, relax for 30 seconds, see past the red mist you have, and login and kill them.

BOB will die in the end, then a new alliance will come up. There will be a massive scandle with them at some point. Just like there was with Curse, Red, Stain, etc etc. You gonna quit over that?

On a lighter note, life moves on. And as always great fun is still be had. Let us relax for a while and enjoy the best Post in Eve history.

After many losses on both sides, I am happy to announce that I have won and my children are now located in BE-D. After a brief foray through BAT-H and S0-AP I finally was able to web and scramble their noob ships and get them clean. The battle had several losses including a lamp and one of my dog's eyes.

For now I control the H0M-3 constellation.... but I fear it can only last for a short while...

Live goes on.

The issue isn't that bob are cheaters it's that ccp are.

CCP knew about it and did nothing to set things right until 6 months later when player found out and started spamming the forums and even then they tried to sweep it under the rug. The dev wasn't even fired. They've taken no preventative action and for all we know t20 and other devs are out there cheating away as we speak.

Anyway I think I'm gonna jump my carrier into delve later today and get some action.

Make no mistake I dont think what has happened is a good thing, its a very bad thing. But it will end, and there is one good very good thing happening now.

Eve is a whole lot more interesting. The amount of wars now rolling around and the massive fighting that is now happening is making life very fun indeed. (tinfoil hat) Makes you wonder if it was all staged to rifle everyone up

For the record, CCP knew t20 had given BoB some T2 bpos about 6 months ago, and he was punished for it then. Originally, the punishment for a dev that was cheating wasn't as harsh. It was only after he was caught that they decided that any CCP employee caught cheating would be fired.

They aren't going to punish him twice for something. I've been poking around the forums too, and I'm pretty sure most what I just said is accurate, though I have been known to make mistakes.

As for the war on BoB, I'm glad your having fun, Titan. Hope your carrier survives the trip into Delve though, heheheh.

Anyway, for those interested, Dusk and Dawn capture the first BoB station of the war. All of the starbases in the system were put into reinforced and the station was taken.

As far as I know, BoB put up little or no fight, possibly because the construction of this particular outpost was funded by a single person, from what I've heard. Seems that quite a few members of the northern coalition think that this is the beginning of the end for BoB. I like to think that they let D2 take the station, but will come in force to defend the stations funded by the alliance itself should they be attacked.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong =P

EDIT: Might also add that the first mothership has been destroyed by MC and TOXIN. There were approximately 72 capital ships in the system at the time of destruction. Outbreak and MC had 4-6 bubbles on the mom at all times, and constantly were bumping it, to prevent it from going into warp.

Battles Royal

As AtomicViper has noted, there has been much ado about everything lately. Heavy fighting everyone and many insanely expensive ships have been destroyed.

Total losses for since the last update @10,000+ ships

DUSK AND DAWN TITAN DOWN.

D2 Titan was destroyed in Fountain.

D2 Offical Statement reads:

Ovaron, The X-Trading Company, Dusk and Dawn wrote:Today D² lost an Erebus class Titan.

Because there are still a lot of questions about these recent events, here are some points from our persepective.

The Erebus pilot had planned to log out as he had things to attend to out of game, in order to do this he jumped back from the front line to a more secure system. He had not been involved in any fights or attacks for the three hours prior to this.

It seems that the Erebus was being scouted by a internal Spy who has since been identified. This character was flying a cloaked Anathema Covert Ops frigate. Shortly before the Pilot was going to log off, he uncloaked and used a Passive Targeter to lock the Erebus and fired a single shot on him. Seconds after this, the Titan pilot logged.

So the aggro timer was increased without our pilot noticing.

Minutes after this it was reported that the Titan had not disappeared, so the pilot attempted to log back in.
Unfortunately there was no chance for him to save the Titan, due to a well executed plan by BoB who had jumped in their Capital Fleet and Support.

We always knew it was going to be a dirty war, but once again, Band of Brother prooves, it can always get more dirty.

Uncomfermed reports D2 got it back, due to a Passive Targeter bug (the targeter allowing locking inside POS shields). We will have to wait and see.

BATTLE REPOT: NYX DOWN.

A Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate Mothership, the Caladri Nyx was destroyed in C3-0YD last night. Again claims of bugs and petitions going out. War is getting very dirty.

BATTLE REPORT: AEON DOWN.

A INVICTUS Alliance Aeon Mothership was destroyed in the new regions 2 days ago to a joint FATEL alliance, MC, and Outbreak forces. Reports are all clear for this one, Mothership was destroyed to a massive capital fleet. Taking it down cost the fleet forces over 70 support ships.

-LV- TITAN DOWN.

-LV- Capital shipyards was destroyed 2 days ago, and their capital production system taken. This ment the distruction of a TITAN that was under production and the loss of all 75 billion ISK in creating it. The battle for the system was over 2000 ships, with Federation Against BOB forces taking victory. The node is reported to have crashed 5 times, unable to take the weight of 2000 ships on the same grid firing at eachother. It was reinforced to the strongest node in the game but even that failed to keep it up. The hardware simply doesnt exist yet for this kind of fighting.

Fountain: 7BX- D2 Capture Band of Brothers Outpost

4 days ago, D2 destroyed BOB POS's in the 7BX system, and took the outpost. After a short time of peace, BOB have now responded, and heavy fighting is taking place there currently, which involved the loss of the D2 titan. Other then that fighting in the area is very close.

Detorid on the verge of falling:

The Detorid region, with the loss of -LV- shipyards, is now reported to be on the verge of falling to federation forces. the defenders face over 50,000 hostile attackers, and are outnumbered heavly. With BOB forces falling back to defend fountain, it seems...unlikey they will hold for long.

This battle is happening RIGHT NOW, reports now of 2 BOB titans jumping into the system with 100 battleship support fleet. Insanely heavy fighting blockadeing the entire Peroid Basis region.

Imperial Republic of the North forces have attacked FIX in querious, the 4th frount of this epic war. Heavy fighting there reports IRON on the winning side, FIX fleets are on the run.

Overall, im tired now. Im off to attack more pirates. GL to all involved in the war and GF.

Would like to say that there was no passive targeter exploit used to aggress the Dusk and Dawn titan to kill it. There are screen shots floating around the forums, showing a BoB spy smartbombing the titan outside of a PoS shield to give it an aggression countdown. I doubt D2 will get the titan back. Wouldn't be surprised if both of the motherships and LV's titan baby got returned though.

For the rest, I really hope that the MC wins vs -A-. I don't want to see them lose their home. Same goes for FIX. It would be nice to see BoB lose a lot of their territory though. Would make the game more interesting if D2 lost a lot of their assets as well though.

That's what I was getting at with BoB and D2 (and LV/-A-/RedSwarm) losing territory, would allow smaller alliances to pop up. The way things seem to going right now though, it looks as though D2 will head back up north, with BoB keeping most of their space. That is, unless LV falls very quickly (which is unlikely), and RedSwarm moves on to take out RISE, and then moving to Period Basis/Delve.
