One little observation tho, in announcements now all I am getting is "warning we are under attack", "warning shelds are at 75%", "warning shields are low" (not exact wording, but you get the drift) - I am getting these over and over again, and it is all I am getting, no other types of announcements at all.
and no I wasn't under attack, and shields were at 100% (Yea I know it probably random)
But it got soo bad, I had to head back to the skunk to get away from the repetition.
One other little thing I noticed, was that the hull and shield numbers are not on screen any more..

Of course it is, Litauen has created this Cap Bridge from exisiting rooms and corridors from stations, so of course it is possible, question is, does anyone have the time, passion, patience or desire to create a completely new bridge, it takes quite some time and effort to do something like that.antoniut wrote:Today I was wandering if would be posible to make a different bridge for medium ships, like rahanas or so...

Creating a new component, a new docking bay, and a new medium bridge and assign to all transports, its doable?

Yes, but in this case (IMHO) a complete new docking bay must be created and assigned to transporters only (different capships docking bay). I believe that it can be made, but dunno wich implications can have this to the game (problems with plot, missions, etc)Earth ultimatum IV. wrote:I believe that you can place a landing pad on anything. What I'm trying to say is that if we could have two types of mod bridges. One for xl ships (we got it) and another one for l ships, different from de capitals one, smaller, simpler.

edit: actually, come to think of it, I kind of miss the vanilla cluttered landing pads. Think I might mod my copy of this mod to have the vanilla landing pads for L class ships. Maybe the L class freighters. Might be nice for the Balor to keep it's bridge.

I tried to add different bridges to L ships, but did not find a way to apply these to already present ships. E.g. my way needs new game start. If somebody finds a way to change bridges for old save games, then MAYBE I will create separate bridge for L ships. Smaller, more compact and more compatible for these smaller ships.

Would be extremly interesting if someone added a landing pad on all small fighters (ships), so that we could land on small ships and watch them flying.
Just a very small cockpit. A few metres. And big windows.
And a special mini-bridge for Katana, Daito, Gigurum, Vulture and Manorina and the mining ships.
Wish I had some modding skills to do this, cause it sounds awesome.

That DOES sound cool. Maybe allow docking a Beholder Drone with fighters?
