I have downloaded "phpBB" which is the same software that Egosoft use for their forums. All I have to do now is figure out how to use it, anyone ? . .

Try the PHPBB Support pages first of all. The Support Forum is also worth a try.

Strange. When I posted them they loaded very quicky but now they are slow, as you say. I expect the site will be back to normal pretty soon.

I think i speak for the entire of FOLK when i say that Ferd prob deserves at least one star in recognition of his stiring efforts at organisation and management of this group and thread.

A question about scrips, and indeed about the general level of usage?

Does anyone here use scripts? I have installed the Massive War so I can have a bit of fun and at least the bad guys fight back

I have witnessed a Xenon invasion into Argon Prime and loved it.

Has anyone else tried it?

Yeh I felt like that too until I realised the war mod has a little script inside it that allows you to create as much wealth as you like and therein create your fleet as required.

When you say graphics etc do you want me to figure a proper logo out for the group? Rather than just a banner? If so I will work on a few, just time of course is required...

Basically I need everything.

I have downloaded the web pack from Egosoft, but we need evrything apart from the background, including helpfull text about the plot & the best way(s) we, as a group, can then offer others who log on to our site.

I'm currently trying to get my head around this Web Publishing software & time is running out! So any help would be greatly appreciated.
