I'm sorry, but where in the world do we pay 25% sales tax? In my country, it's 23% and that's because we're being robbed by our government, under excuse of the troika. What about the rest of the world? Does USA residents pay 25% sales tax? If not, (and most likely it's around 7-10%, depends of the state) they'll be paying less than us, europeans.

And that sucks.

I just pre-ordered Rebirth the other day... And Steam has NOT added the game to my library

Completely uninstalled and re-installed Steam, however nope, the game is still not in my library.

Made a Customer Support ticket, but Steam is famous for their 10 days to reply and then with a generic response that doesn't fix the problem

I'd like to be assured that the price won't go down after few months, in any case. Even a bonus(soundtrack is too little, come on) to buy directly from your site.

This is the most expensive PC game that I'm going to buy in years apart.

I bought Portal 2 in preorders at 30 euros.
Rome 2 Total War at 27,99£
Arma 3 at 24,99 euro in alpha access.
Star Citizen/Squadron 42 in kickstarter at 30 dollars, 23 euro.

PS: another thing: One dollar is not one euro. Jesus, we have a dramatic economy in Europe.

Hi guys, I want ot buy the boxed version for the collectors edition in ENGLISH but maybe is not available in my area because I cant see it? I can only see all digital versions and GERMAN boxed version....

EDIT: nothing forget now i see has not been announced yet, lets wait for the best....

Yes, Europe has been dramatic for many years. But I always liked Patrick Stewart anyways.

Crap. Now egosoft is going to force me to pay for X:R twice - once for Collectors edition and second time for Steam key to play it on day zero, because Russian post is terribly slow.

Will we have like digital only collectors edition? Or will the physical collectors edition include some kind of high-quality printed map (with a huge "SPOILERS" tag on it, obviously)? Otherwise it's not needed physically, except for collection.

In Croatia tax is 25%. We were robbed by the government to some extent by 23% tax and then they decided that 25% is more suitable for the needs of corrupt political elite. And it's EU BTW. In a few years we will be remembering good old days when taxes were only 25%, mark my words.

copy of game. It will be change to X Rebirth game and new 'disc' on forum?

I too would like to know the answer to these questions. Tempted to just get the soundtrack and game, but I do want the extension to the X Encyclopedia.

you still can sell your code if you didn't activated it, same for boxes if you didn't openned them.
then buy the collector edition..

for my part, i think i'm going crazy, i can swear i saw an english collector edition on ego shop between 11 and 13h UTC while i was at work.

and now they expect me to preorder a basic steam code? foolish they are !

I think the OST will still be in some game folder. I Purchased the GOLD edition back in the days, with a CD with the OST, and that very same OST was available in a folder inside the game as Mp3 files, so.....

Edit: The game has finally showed up in my games list. Closed the Steam ticket down.

@ Egosoft, if there is some kind of Collectors Edition, will there be an upgrade function on Steam?

I'm willing to pay extra to have CBJ fly on my ship as a recruitable character, with a Pizza selling ship delivering to my stations to increase workers performance.
