DVD releases do not have to be non-Steam. I have bought multiple games on DVD only to find that they still needed Steam to install.

Yeah, I bought Empire Total War and Shogun 2 and they required Steam in order to download them which I don't get as I had the Disk, yet I had to Download them to play them.

What is clear to me is that the members here pass through various "phases" of reaction, stemming from the lack of ANY news or ANYTHING on topic for that matter.

We are now in "humor" mode.

A 3-31-2013 release date ain't all that bad. Only 6 months. That's 6 months of X:R Improvements. Worth it imo
