Yes! all glasses are now transparent .. ive checked again all my files and in the game all glasses are transparent
I swear, for some reason I'm still seeing a bit of a blue tint through the glass :| Its not the same for all ships, I just noticed that for the discoverer its very faint, but for the mamba it is quite noticeable.
And this may be related - firing a weapon makes the entire screen light up the colour of the weapon, when normally just the cockpit structure would light up. Looks a little odd.
Long time ago i've tried to fix this without good results.
but i have a idea about this problem i try to work on it
Shawn's cockpit mod dosn't do that, maybe you could ask him what he did!

The reason is simple: no glasses effects is used in his cockpitmod
But... i think its possible to set "refflections" of weapons on cockpits in Tfiles (TBullets.pck something like that i think)
but i think too to loose reflection of weapons effects on the ship texture (dds)
For the moment (if u are able to do that), the simple issue is to delete 543.jpg 1000.jpg and 1001.jpg of my mod ... but u loose sun effects on glasses because you delete textures too.
Personaly i prefer with, so it's not a priority for me ...
ask me if u want a link of my mod without those 3 textures its very simple for me no problemo !

PSCO1 - I would like a link to a package without the glass textures, as mentioned above. I am loving the cockpits, but having weapons fire light up the glass, as well as the glass texture tinting everything blue, I would like to remove those two effects. If you don't want to upload, posting some steps on how to do this myself would also be great!

You should also note that there is a heck of a lot of blinking particles, tiny specks floating around... I've noticed they kill the frame rate per second... you'll notice them as being yellowish

First, let me say that this mod adds greatly to immersion and I can't imagine playing without it.

Which leads me to my second point, there is no cockpit for the Boron Angel TP. I saw this was pointed out earlier but you believed everything should be working correctly.

I am running 2.5, bought the angel from the Queen's Retribution shipyard, and am using the 1.2a version with effects and glass enabled installed as a false patch. It has worked for all other ships that should have it.

Is there something that I could potentially be doing wrong?

note the first page... it gives a list of ships that have cockpits, I guess the others are currently being worked on and are going to be added later on in later updates and patches

Just like to add a big well done to the creator of the cockpits. I played TC ages ago and it just wasn't the same without them. Now all I'm missing is flying INTO stations and docking, but thats another story...

I was wondering would it be possible to MOVE the SETA message, I'm curretly in a TS ship and the seta message is right over the radar screen.

Actually i try to work about the energy laser bar .. i try to convert a numeric value to a graphic value .. "IconData.txt" is maybe the file to modify but iam not sure :shock:

As you can see in the image below the "SETA Active xxx%" is over the radar screen, which detracts from the overall look and feel of the cockpit, as well as obstructs what you see on the radar. Would it be possible to position this either generically in the corner of the screen or fitted in someplace on the cockpit, perhaps changing the text to "SETA: xxx%"

I've not seen the other cockpits so not sure where it would be good to place it, but if you can place it in a different location on different cockpits that would be great, if not then maybe the far bottom right corner?

Hi, it looks like the latest version of this mod is not compatible with this one: http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=265124

Can I somehow get an older version of your cockpit mod, say 1.17 or 1.18 ?

No version of this mod is compatible with mine yet.

PSCO1, if you have any free time, would you mind helping me out with that endeavor? :)

Does "without glasses and weapons effects" mean that you don't see the bluish tinted windows anymore from the inside of the ship or does it mean something else?

means no windows... which means less flickering effect :P
