I use Windows 7 and basically the mod works well with me.
Now comes the restriction ...

I noticed something else:
If I built L/XL AND S/M modules in ONE shipyard, he shows me all ship classes in the consutruction menu to choose from but if I choose ships of the S or M class, I can't see all of the bought components/equipments and therefore I can't assign these to the ship so I can't build the ship because necessary equipment are not available.
If I build a pure S/M shipyard then I can see most of the purchased components/equipments and I can build the ship.
But, I noticed at the L/XL shipyard, apparently some equipment licenses are missing in the build menu: I bought the XL shield licenses of the Paranids, Argons and the Teladi, but I can only see the shields of the Argons, no matter which XL ship I choose. I can not buy these licenses again, I have checked the savegame and the 3 entries for the shields are available.

Please, save the construction plan of the station that doesn't work and upload your constructionplans.xml file.

I'm going to join in with saying that I'm getting CTD's now. Just like the others, I bought all of the Blueprints I could, then built a L/XL shipyard and a S/M Warf. When I attempt yo buy BP's now, the game crashes to desktop.

To add to this, I've noticed that many of my S/M parts BP's have vanished and I can't build ships due to missing engine BP's. My shipyard and warf are also not allocating the proper storage to needed wares, specificly Advanced Composites, and Drone Components. They do seem to be hoarding Scanner Arrays and Energy Cells. In the case of my L/XL yard, it's decided I need 1 million Cells but only 29 composites. I've manually dumped the cells and forced the composites/Drone Components into the shipyard and the "max" amount seems to be holding, but the issue with BP's still remains.

is there any way to add ships that are modded like the ashipmod or the battle ship mod to the shipyard mod?
If I combine these mods the game crashes the moment I try to get a ship because it is probably a compability issue between the two mods.

The ASHIPMOD works very well with POS and needs no adjustments.
For the BattleShipMod I can't say anything because I don't use this mod.

I have both mods and my gane run without any issues

Is the mod as a whole working at this point? I keep coming across anecdotal reports from people saying "Oh I used that but it broke my savegame" or "It's not working". I don't, of course, just believe them, but it would be nice if you could keep us informed if everything is running fine, and especially if there ever were 'corrupting' problems that the solutions patch up the problems or merely make them not occur in new games. I know a lot of player would run screaming if they ever thought there was irreversible damage even remotely possible. So, more PR that "Everything's Fine People!" would be good if true. I know that's a bit of an impossible ask since apparently everything has worked fine on your end, but from a player perspective I hope you understand :D

What PR? What interest could I have in lying about anything? It's not like I make any profit out of this...

Guess you are right Carmaster, this issue was appearing after 1.24 for me, 1.23 worked fine so far, only the sips did not get build :D So, if you need a tester who got problems before, I am around here to play test bunny

The moment someone told me 1.23 was working fine for them I immediately knew what was going on.
It's gonna take a few hours to get a fix out, I believe, since I need too update the game and unpack the files again now that I am back home.

In the latest version after downloading and booting up the game the shipyard screen is greyed out. When I click on my station to buy ships I get to the shipyard screen but the choosing selection for L/XL or S/M is completly greyed out for me now.

Hi Carmaster,

the 'known CTDs' you fixed, in what instance did these occur?
I've been fighting trying to track down the cause of a Crash when I engage in fights with modded carriers...
unfortunately the crash doesn't seem to leave anything in debug logs. I thought maybe it had something to do with turrent scripts... but also happen to be ships with mobile repair docks... so just wondering :gruebel: if there's a connection?

Edit: Oh yeah; I'm also having trouble where I couldn't buy equipment blueprints (weapons/engines/thrusters etc) - entire categories greyed out - then tried blackrains' edits, which allowed me to buy the blueprints, but some (like weapons) still wouldn't show up when trying to equip.
