Thank you for suggestions about the crew, maybe in the future.

Currently I am working on the holographic dynamic monitors for the captain:

Looks spiffy! Will it show any actual information or just be there for the cool look?

At first it will just look cool. Next step I want to do real Sector maps on one of the screen. Later shields/hull on another screen. Maybe something else on other screens, so they could show actual information. Suggestions welcome.

I think the logs would useful, sort of seeing updates to ships, especially if using the auto trader mod.

All the info from ship details would be good, weapons available vs destroyed, drones etc.

Monitor can be solid picture. E.g. no custom/dynamically formatted/live text or digits. It is possible to put different letters one after another but this is not a proper way to do it. Every letter should be in many different positions and for each of such letter many related files must be created, xmf files, dds and so on. Simply - not worth the effort/time with this method. What I will do after these eye-candy monitors from Oblivion - are sector maps. They are simple images, there are a lot of them but it is manageable. Map will show current sector in which ship is present. Again - writing some custom text dynamically formatted - not with this method. Now only solid images which can change one another (pretending monitor view is changing). E.g. shields/hull in monitor is possible by showing like 5 blocks each representing 20% of shield or hull. But not actual numbers. I hope my explanation is understandable.

That explanation makes sense.

It'd be nice to have a ship systems status, if that's possible. SOmething like:

BOOSTERS - FUNCTIONAL
JUMPDRIVE - FUNCTIONAL
DRONE BAY - OFFLINE
SCANNERS - NOMINAL

or just colorcoding.

it would also be useful to have a jumpdrive charge/cooldown bar.
Irrational factors are clearly at work.

Version update: v1.80 Holo Monitors for the Captain

Monitors with LIVE info will come in time. Now only nice placeholders.

I think 3 monitors will be enough right now:

really awesome, now if you could get the tactical scanner from the skunk on one of those screens, then we almost have our tactical bridge people wanted in the beginning, great work so far though.

Can you add one window with all ship information like where ship is going(what it is doing),how much and what cargo ship have or how much Fuel cells ship have left. Also little timer countdown for jump drive :)
