Yes, please; but with a huge but. Upon loading my old v2.51 save in v3.0, I immediately started receiving reports of traders being pummeled. Then again, the change could simply have been that I now get reports, and the attacks could have been happening all the time.

Then again, the first and only ship I actually lost was my ice miner working in DeVries, which I wouldn't normally filter out.

That said, more control over where my traders may and may not go would be cool. Would make it possible to set up Albion traders who would avoid the deathtrap in Wrecksville, and keep them distinct from my DeVries charity fleet, plus a handful of galaxy-trading Titurels with hand-picked crews.

The non steam version is old code. Steam is free and you only have to register your shop bought copy of XR, no further money is needed to access the workshop. If you didn't pay for XR you are on your own however as I won't support stealing egosofts work.

I bought all versions of "X3" (X3:Reunion;X3:Terran Conflict;X3: Albion Prelude) And they are very good. Why I should pay for the raw product.
if I see that he is not given in adequate condition. I already had the sad experience of buying raw games. I do not want to repeat it.

How far along have you gotten in the game? You might want to hold off on adding mods until you know they're what you want.

Hi guys,

This is probably a question that has been asked before but i cannot find the answer all the same. Is there a maximum number of auto miner/auto trader ships that you can run as i no longer see any of my newer auto traders on the reconfig list to set maximum wallet perimeters for. I bought four more ships, added them to the YAT then attempted to reconfig their wallets and they weren't there. For some reason it goes up to a certain number of ships on the reconfig list before stopping. After that i can only see the newer ships on the list on the 'overall' tab under a line: null null null based at null with Ocr budget cap.

Any solution?

Also as a side note the 'remove ship' tab doesn't work at all.

Found a hard freeze in the menus for this mod.
Add Ship > Select Ship > Select Role > Select location > Accidentally cancel at the fund screen > Hard freeze when selecting location a second time.

The game doesn't lock up but the menu system appears to crash and you can't change screens or go back. Only recover I have found is reloading a previous save to reinitialize everything.

Also a suggestion that relates to the one already mentioned about setting exclusion systems from the galaxy trader.

Would you be able to set a condition to force the trader to ONLY service your stations? Specifically restrict both buying & selling to your stations so it acts as a sort of player faction exclusive trader.

Was sort of an idea after I realized how much a pain it was going to be to move things out of my Albion stations to Devries after I trigger the event to piss of PMC. The original idea was to set up a construction shop I could access & let neutral traders supply it then just go fetch things from it when I went to build other stations later. Would be cool if i could just set a trader to the task without worrying about it deciding to run around trying to fetch things for the stations in hostile space. :)

Well I can confirm this as well, BUT it has nothing to do with the number of ships, as I had 2 ships plus a nulnul, then I added a Rahanas to YAT.
Rahanas can not be reconfigured as it is not showing up in reconfigure.
I am no coder or anything, but the one thing you and I have the same is that we both have a nulnul ship when viewing the list of ships.
The nulnul disappears when going to configure a ship, my best guess is that the nulnul is causing what is below it to hide.

sorry nohey missed your post

1) resquad your YAT ships
2) using a large file compatible editor (wordpad is fine, notepad++ better, do not use standard notepad) search and delete the line containing lYAT_TradeGroup then resave (backed up save of course)
3) restart game and you will be able to use YAT normally again

is the fix for null bug in ship list. v1.1 has more protection against this, but basically dont directly order ships that are under YAT control :) Remove from YAT first then order away.

Yorrick cheers for that i'm going to give that a shot. Another problem i am facing is that on occasion my traders sit there AFTER trading before automatically doing nothing 'searching for trades' with bits and pieces still in their cargo. I have a trader sitting now with 5000k cut crystal in his hold and he's not moved for 15 minutes. I find that now and then my miners and traders simply stop and if i attempt to remove them and add them back to YAT they come under the 'Command: None' on the map and stay that way.

Any ideas?

Great Mod btw, when it's going it's a life saver.

With command none error, no I haven't seen that. PM me a save game if possible (dropbox, googledrive) as i might be able to get a clue from a debug log.

Yorrick i restarted from a previous save and only used auto miners; i will PM you with a save if it happens again after i test some traders. Cheers.

ISSUE: i cant assign "manorina" to auto-mine / trade.

REQUEST: assign ships to NPC stations, filling up wares they want.

EDIT: looks like i cant add a vulture eighter from the menu and "remove" ship meny has the menu-vanish bug.

Check the Overvew menu. If you have a ship listing as null then do this:
1) resquad your YAT ships
2) using a large file compatible editor (wordpad is fine, notepad++ better, do not use standard notepad) search and delete the line containing lYAT_TradeGroup then resave (backed up save of course)

It seems to break things if a ship in the YAT trade group gets destroyed for some reason. It doesn't get cleared up completely. Note that you will have to assign & remove all your ships from your squad after doing this fix before they can be re-added to the YAT.

What I noticed, my YAT assigned Titurel loves to pick from my Station even if the wares are trade restricted. I have a Material Supplier which produces Reinforced Metal Platings to build up my empire and every now and then the ship goes there and empties the stored plates and starts to sell them all over the galaxy. :)

@swatti - have barely looked at 3.00 or 3.10; as I get time I'll look at issues with new ships.

@ zippe - restricting trade only sets things so your ships and your ships alone can buy from there. My best though on this is to set the prices to max so it doesn't look like a good trade.

As regard trader death - now the ooz zone ai actually does something (it only took 13 months to fix) I intend to add some kind of self check to auto clear any null entries.

Hi YorrickVander,

first of all let me say thank you for this mod, it looks really great!
I have tried it now with a new game since 10hrs or so, but there is something i dont understand.
I have assigned a Sahanar and a Rahanas to autotrade, from the logbook I can see they are pretty busy buying and selling, however I never got any money transfer to my account when a profit is made (i mean, also nothing at all in the logbook). If i remove a ship from autotrading I only get back the money I gave to the captain at the beginning.
Am I doing something wrong or how does it work exactly?

P.s. I dont use any other trading mod...
