prefer the second boreas, though the square thing at the top seems an eyesore, its on the the original boreas too still looks odd though, a suggestion on the second attempt, make the bridge at the front like a hammerhead shark as it seems a little weak at the front, the new engines are awesome...

the thing is, that thing doesnt look like a M7 class AT ALL. it's more like M1+ or something like that. but since ATF already has M1+, so i am not planning to put that in, unless paul ask for it. M7 Carrier is really a M7 Heavy frigate, instead putting weapons you put fighters (look at Argon Cerberus)mr.WHO wrote:I didn't sugested adding another ship, just replacing one Forseti with another:paulwheeler wrote:"Forseti" is the last available ATF name that Betty can say. So thats it for adding any more ATF ships into the XRM. Besides, as I've said before - they have more than enough ships for a specialist task force.

This one looks more like a Carrier and also is asymetric in good, interesting way, while the old one is symetric boring and don't look like a carrier, more like a heavy frigate.
The "old" Forseti looks very similar To Bragi, Cadius Kvasir and even XTM (XTC) Valhalla (Ragnarok). New one is kinda very original, but still ATF looking.

i always thought that platform is some sort of helicopter landing pad..garrry34 wrote:prefer the second boreas, though the square thing at the top seems an eyesore, its on the the original boreas too still looks odd though, a suggestion on the second attempt, make the bridge at the front like a hammerhead shark as it seems a little weak at the front, the new engines are awesome...

Since I asked for it, I think I should review it;expnobody wrote:Boreas mk2 ver.2
Much better. I'd not mind seeing it in game, but, since it isn't there yet, I'll make my one suggestion: I think the engine block could be a little bigger.
I think the reason I feel this way is that, despite the changes you've made to the front end, it is still clearly the Boreas, with all the worst bits removed, and more solid looking. So I guess what I'd really like is the old six-engine cluster in the new style.

Actually, when I thought about M7 carrier, I though more like Cadius Hakata, Tern, or vanilla Panther. But if you say it's more like Cerberus or Shrike, then it acually have sense, as Aegir doesn't have fighter hangars so this type of new frigate kinda works for ATF.M7 Carrier is really a M7 Heavy frigate, instead putting weapons you put fighters (look at Argon Cerberus)

the engines look a bit too big imo. even for a light/fast destroyer

Mr Who, in the XRM the Boreas has been rebalanced to just be like the Vanilla description, its got 100m/s + speed , 6GJ shields and 6/6/6 front/left/right anti cap weaponry.mr.WHO wrote:I like the hammerhead, but I think that it doesn't fit M2 or M2+. Maybe a advance light destroyer with good speed, weapon coverage and configuration, but overall less total firepower = aka something that Boreas supose to be according to vanilla description.

2 suggestion's.....
1st the new wings.... increase their size by 50% and then repeat them again on the rear of the main part of the body just as it start's to slope back into the main body..... eg just in front of the the engines, this should create a more dynamic shape and stop it looking too cigar like!
2nd the engines...this new design engines do not look as good as the others, i prefer the below the engine styles probably the most (but theey look to narrow)
http://bbs.deeptimes.org/data/attachmen ... moydt7.jpg
Could you try and move the 2 left/right engines each away from the body some more to make the whole engine part look wider, not much just a little bit, just to give it more shape.
But overall well done its looking good!
or use the below engines instead...
http://bbs.deeptimes.org/data/attachmen ... fa50da.jpg
edit....or keep the engines and just get rid of the yellow glow, as its that effect that makes them look not very nice!
