Hi Scorp,
I have almost the exact same problem as Robbidoux.
When I try to load one of my log files, I get an invalid log error as well. I am using x3 v.2.002 and xtm .7.3 and I wanted to use this map to see where every thing is. I tried a complete uninstall and reinstall of the map program, and it still didn't work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there, Great program!! I use XTM and I have gotten it working and just wanted to do a search for dragons..
If I use the map's search part to look and none come up does that mean there are none in the current game or does it mean the program doesnt know that they exist?
I was just wondering because the shivan dragon scales are in the list (probably because I was holding some in my HQ).
So I am just asking if (providing there are any floating about the place) I can use this program to search for them, dragons i mean hehe.

Automatic X3 Reunion map update
Hi boys
first off all... Wonderfull job with this map! very usefull.
I've X3 reunion with Xtended mod installed.
Can i update the map with the new sector added with Xtended??
The scripts in the game run automatically or i must run it from a menu?? (if by a menu, where?)

Yes...there's a file Readme_X3_map.doc that comes with ScorpBY's map,
here's the relevant section:
– Start X3, load your savegame, go to «Options» (Shift+O with ship in space).
Choose «Controls» and select «Interface» tab.
Scroll down until the «Extensions» section (usually at the end).
– Assign a hot-key (Shift+F2 for example) for «Activate search of objects» script,
this done by selecting this line, pressing return,
selecting «Add Control», pressing return, pressings Shift and F2 together,
then selecting «Apply», finally pressing return.
You can save this setting using the «Save Profile» line in the «Profiles» tab.
– Run the script while in space (by pressing Shift+F2) and wait for completion (~ 4-5 seconds).
You will get visual confirmation of completion if you have the Subtitles option switched on.

What about getting sign for script? Especially main script. For no longer making profile 'modified'. It will be useful particularly now, when player stats can be uploaded to the site and there the status of being modified is noticed
Probably, if the community will ask Egosoft to sign the script, they`ll do it.

Why, you can use this map in an unmodified game.
Activate script editor,

reload game.

I installed the X3 Map a watched it - excellent job I must say !!! I didn't want to use it, but I have one big trouble:
I have X3-Xtended game. I used script to create a log00001.txt. The file appeared in the X3 directory.
But when I loaded it into X3 map program, not even one new sector has been added. The only new thing was one distant hyper-gate between Kingdom end and Unknown sector. (I thought it had to be there somewhere, since I had recognized strange energy cells consumption during drive-jumps from e.g.Maelstrom sector :)
Additionally some new stations appeared. But that's really all.
So ... I'm little bit sad, why there are now new sectors. Am I doing something wrong ??? Maybe I haven't activated the Xtended mod correctly.
Could anyone help ?

First of, this is an excelent mod!
I've been using it to watch my empire grow as i'm using Sector Takeover to capture pirate sectors for me. I'm also using the XTM mod and have been deploying some Terran Ollerus to create new gates. However, the jumpgates i created between sectors Olmancketslat's Treaty and Ceos Sprite do not appear in the X3 Map by Scorp. How do i make them appear?
So far, the other gate i've created have all appeared, but they were all from North to South, this is the First East to West.
Anyone knows how to solve this?

Sorry, the answer is no! The XTM team made this very clear on their website when you downloaded the mod. To use the mod, you HAVE to start a new game. No work around.MaxVR wrote:...
