Hello Galaxy. I see that you have fixed the black cockpits in cockpit callback for 1.3. I prefer to use the cockpits on the larger ships, so would there be any chance of a fix for those black cockpits too?

Greetings,

I'm just buy X3 from Play.com and patched it to 1.3 with french subtitles activated and it works very nicely (i'm from France).

I'd like to install the mod but i don't know how. I must be stupid because everyone seems to manage to install the mod, but me. Can you please tell me what i'm supposed to do with the files ?

Put the 2 files in the mod folder of X3, then start the game and in the launcher click on "select mod package" then choose the mod then click on ok and finally start game.

According to X3 cockpits and bridges are the same thing. So yet the M2/M1/TL/M6 bridges are working. To get them working you have to use the same way to make the cockpits work.

Thank you, it's working. I didn't play X2, only demo, but it's much better now with cockpits for immersion =)

I don't think I explained myself very well. On the capital rebalance, the cockpits/bridges are all black in 1.3. You updated the cockpit callback, but as far as I can see, you didn't fix the Capital rebalance for 1.3. Could you maybe send a fix for this. Please tell me if I'm being a dumbass. :P

I sort-of discontiuned the Capital Ship Rebalance mod so I didn't update it. While it was a good simple mod I didn't think anyone was still using it and even I have forgotten it at times. I can do a update for you, it'll be easyier then normal sense only the capital ships have 'cockpits'.

*Edit* Ok, a new version of Cockpit Callback is up. This fixes the Nova's back turret thus giving it the proper turret cockpit, and the Khaak ships have Khaak'pits.
Hmmm... my nova is still messed up.

Sorry if this has already been talked about, and it may not even be to do with this mod, but on my nova it looks like I am inside my ship, and I can see through it, expect for the edges. I have tried going to a different sector, but that didn't work.
Any ideas?

that was a 1.3 patch problem i think. iirc jumping sector VIA a jumpdrive or saving quiting and reloading helped :wink:

I have tried these solutions and am still having the problems. I am currently running 1.3.2, if that helps.

Argon Nova Attacker Fault

I bought an Argon Nova Attacker and there is a problem with the cockpitposition. After that I tried to buy an standard Nova and the proplem was not there. Could you fix the proplem with the Nova Attacker, PLEASE?

Galazy, Are you going to update your cockpit mod for the 1.4 patch?

I don't care for imps graphics... I prefer the old x2 models :(

I might, FYI apparently with the 1.4 patch they have fixed the way it handles cockpits, so you could use the Cockpit Callback version that was for 1.2, BUT there has been many tShips updates sense then...

I'll see about doing a 1.4 version, for those 'die-hard' fans of the G613 Cockpit Callback mod. :)

Hi i had your cockpit mod b4 but had to reinstal the game due to trying several mod's and not being able to launch the game, were am i putting these two file's? in t folder or script's ive tryed a combination of both but cant get it to show on select mod's help the noob of the day cos i love my cockpit's and i know you guy's reply quit quick
