just to point out, terran ships have to pass through the accelerators, cos they don't use jump drives within the Sol system

This thing is almost as big as Earth Torus :lol: How do you want to keep that restriction to jumpdrive use within the Sol system up? :roll: :?

Is there anyone from Gatebuilders Inc. in tha house who can make them a bit :roll: ...bigger!? :?

would be nice if I can keep it that size (space for some capital ship dock) but yeah AI won't like it. It'll be adjusted to roughly the size of the valhalla, if it still can't fit through gates, you'll need a point to point jump drive script.

It will have internal docking ports for big ships (M6/TS)

Just to point out, I've yet to hear of a military that didn't use something cos they 'Didn't like it" which is basically what the terrans think of jump drives.
I can just picture it now, the old Sarg, scar down across the eye and cheek standing in fron of the troops and saying "I don't care if you don't like it!! and i don't care if it has a bright nipple pink fuzzy glow comming from it, it's going to help us win !! use IT !!"

cadius, if more is good, to much is just right :D Keep it BIG.

It is the military after all, practical is a secondary consideration, it's how bad it can kick @ss they think of.

i wish to use some of these ships but dont know how i have the x- universe plugin manager lite V1.20 can you advise me on how to go about getting some of your ships thanks tons.

all i will have to do iz jump this in to a pirate sector and watch M2s splatter on my windscreen. pure awsome man but maybe you could make a few ships that are, oh i dunno, smaller then a planet maybe?

Are you blind? Look at the first page. There is only one M0 WIP while he finished a lot of M7 already.

I know, I know, but you stated it in such way like he would pop up nothing but M0 and M1/2 every day.

I also think that USC fighter design would be hard to introduce as he use meshes from other games (Nexux, Freespace and Sins of a Solar Empire)

- I cannot memorize any game that had anything similar to TC USC fighters.

Whoo hoo caldari fighter!!!

The EVE online fighters and frigates could make good M3 and M3+ ships (gallente = boron, minimtar = split, caldari = argon, amarr = paranid)

I'll second this.

We need to be gratefull that he has spent obviously so much time so far so as we can can benifit from his talents. It would be all to easy to push to the point that his work of love becomes something he dreads.

We should also remember that this is his Mod, and he needs to do it his way so he is happy with it. Sure, make suggestions, give feedback and point out any errors "nicely" ( no i'm not saying anyone hasn't been nice about pointing out problems).

I for one would much rather have Cadious release work at a steady pace for a long time, rather than Heaps all at once and then he can't bear to do it any more.

I'm as excited as anyone else at the prospect of new high quality ships. But, lets let him release them at his own pace when he is ready.

I've been reading the posts in this thread since the begining, as most of us have. Lets keep this kind of creativity and foster it rather than getting gready and pushy causing it to become stiffled.

I think i speek for everyone when i say, Cadious, we appreciate your time and effort you put in so as we may also benifit. Thank You.

ATF? It looks like a Spitfyre (Terran Aldnir lost colony) family to me.

BTW what about Nexus Stilleto? I remember that in Nexus there was a stilleto-style ship that was similar to it but without rotating section and it was a lighter class of Sol Capship (maybe a heavy M6 in X-universe, while Stilleto would be M7).
caldari = argon, amarr = paranid
This could be interesting, especially ammar with paranid textures style. However I'm a fan of Terran USC/ATF style (plus maybe a Xenon ship range from M5 to M7) so I don't use much of commonwealth ship.That's why I'm very content with current Cadius efford :)

SpenzOT: Cladari has one of the best and easiest designs to build, all boxy and stuff

mr.WHO: Nexus meshes are too low poly to look good in X3, a direct port is bad, all those models I've used so far had to be rebuild almost completely.

As for EVE ships... anyone know if we are allowed to port models? I found an exporter tool sanctioned by CCP.
