I get requests for escort while I am docked...... is this normal ?

Is it a problem for you, I didn't thinks peeps would mind as the next offer would be nearly an hour away if i stop the code if your docked

i love this script so much good job LV

ive had one issue thought some ships are too fast for me (such as a m5 hauler) they tend to cover huge distances before i can get into sector cuasing me to fail the mission

Its not a problem...getting requests while in dock, just you remarked earlier in the thread it wasn’t supposed to happen...... just wondered.

Also, I am getting the same incoming message alert as your Death Match script...... cant see the point of this screen....you say ok (no choice) and then you get the info screen...

Can you get rid of the ALERT screen to incoming messages?

I don't know if it's the beta as I've missed a few versions but I am getting escort missions in 15-20mil range which seems a little high

For instance I've just been offered a mission to escort a Boron Manta from the Unknown sector by Montalaar to Nyana's Hideout for 18 million. I've scanned it to find out what is so valuable and it doesn't actually have any freight.

Maybe its just my game being weird but I thought I'd report in anyway.

I also have installed, Cycrow's Capitol Ship Crews, Cycrow's Race Military & Moxy's M7 mod. I'll keep an eye out for further crazy offers and make a note of the details.

escort code will pick up ships that are going to dock on a carrier (wtf is a panther )

that cash is very high, that kind of payout should only come at huge trade/fight ranks and at least 12 sector distance.

wish i actually got round to installing this earlier, its great, who would have thought escorting cud be sooo much fun.

but if one thing annoys me its when im escorting a dolphin (or whateva) and order my ship to follow it......it collides with the back of it nearly evey time the escort slows down and this is version 1.4. (and as i fly a m4 its usually terminal)

totally ridiculous but has nothin to do with this script....but annoying all the same.

ive never needed the follow command before so hadnnt noticed, when using this script i thought ill use it while i smoke a fag....5 mins later i was well annoyed with it

i only done 1 escort so far, then turned down about 5 in a row.

then i was was offered one for 278 million from cbsw(or mught have been cbnw) to ceos buckzoid

thought it must be a one off so i left it as it would spoil my game

iget another for 227 million

i took screenshots of both of em for you. i have got quite high ranks but still thats like a week of 8 hours a day play for me to earn that normally.

normal?? a million or 2 max would suit me, maybe 5 for one that was nigh on impossible over large distance.

I'm failing almost every escort mission I get for being "too far away from ship". I just failed one even though I was less than 4k away. Is this a known issue?

well whewn ships are using cloaking devices and appear within 10ft of the escorted ship before filling it fukk of laser fire whatgood are yyou at 4km away????

by the way im over 5.5jm away regularkly and nothing happens.

unless yoyu mwan before you got tio the shio to initiate mission????

as soon as yo gety the offer you must get right near ther ship in 2 mins....use a faster ship and ignore ones that are 100km (ie a long way, u wont make it)
away....unless they are near a jump gate and you can jump across

I mean on my way to start the mission. I'm not actually staying that far away from them during the mission. Also, if I'm playing catch up after going through a gate, I end up close to 4k away, but not very long. I shouldn't expect to fail if I'm a little behind for a couple seconds, should I?
