NEWS: Enlight confirms 5 November for X3: Reunion

Eb has pushed back the date for preorders by 1 day each day for the past 4 days and will likely keep doing so for ever . I think the date they are showing is for preorders only and the 1 day is for proccessing the order and getting it shipped out

So order today it ships tomorrow order tomorrow it ships the next day.

of course I could be mistaken.

Then I don't really care about pre/mail order processing and availability I just want to know that the volume enlights initial release was greater than the pre orders so their will be some hitting the retail stores & when it will or should be on store shelves.

It would be real nice to get an OFFICIAL release date from the moderators... a real official date, not one that says November 4th, then 5th, then 6th, then 7th, then 8th....

Make some calls, write some emails, so I don't have to.

At least let us know what is going on. I am pretty understanding of problems when I know what the problem is.

Having to drive to the store everyday and ask the same question to get the same answer is annoying.

TIME TO SCARE ALL THE EB GUYS!

Cuz usally if not always usa/canada has same time if not canada one day behind the ships for games then the usa.

There telling us monday the 14th at few diffrent stores now in canada apprently one person also in usa getting the 14th and I was told the earlyest!

So any recomended stores in erupe I could pay good money to have it shipped in like 24 - 48 hours?

it is pitiful that there has been no more mention on this subject from anyone but the masses that are sick of this. I am done myself. Checking every day for a game to come in, when it is in pitiful shape anyway is rediculous. especialy when the patch is for europe only and i suspect they arent even calling it gold for the US anymore. I am cancelling my pre-order as I am not getting a european version. Single player games have a short shelflife anyway so maybe someday ill actualy see it in the bargain bin and grab it, that is if it ever actualy ships.

such great potential, massive fps drop while using the hud and massive flaws with levels and all that, and no update on this site's main page with more information, along with starforce is all just too many faults.

i dont think well be seeing egosoft much longer.

well I'm certainly getting sick of waiting for it to ship.. but I'm willing to wait as long as it takes, i have a fully paid preorder, just waiting for the darned thing to ship

I tooo am getting sick and tired of waiting for it. I pre ordered it about 3 to 4 weeks ago and was told it would be here today. Now its been pushed back to Nov 14. I bet it does not arrive on that date. Some how, they will find an excuse to delay it again. I am getting so (can't say the words I want to say here) waiting for it. At least they could give us a demo while waiting.

I just cancelled my pre-order through EB games. Let's be realistic - anyone who experienced the addictive (if flawed) X2 has been waiting for X3 for awhile. I decided I would just have to try GoGamer in the hope I can get a copy before the weekend. I'm literally obsessed with the wait - a week ago I started combing the forums to find tips on how to tweak my machine - yesterday I downloaded the patch - now all I need is the game! I'm just glad GoGamer is giving U.S. fans an alternative to the Enlight release.

I pre-ordered this from EBgames (in person) on the 4th. They guy at AB said they should have it by the 5th.

The 5th came and went, no game. I called them and they said it would be the 6th.

Called them on the 6th, and they said it got pushed back to the 8TH. (today.)

I look on the EB website, and now it has chanced from 'available' to 'Pre-Order: Ships on 11/9/2005'

So I'm not expecting to get the game until at least the 11th.

The ship date on EBGames' website has changed three days in a row! I realize there's nothing that Egosoft can do at this point, but this is getting nuts!

Sorry circumstances for my first post. I loved X2 and have reached the end of my wait for X3. You guys at Egosoft that probably won't even read this post should be extremely pissed off at Enlight for their pathetic display of business. There is money to be made here and i'm seeing more and more that these stupid companies are more about pissing people off than actually getting a product out there and selling it. I am disappointed. Not even sure I want to waste any more of my time with this game. Sorry Ego guys, it's not your fault. America sucks, plain and simple.

Forget about ebgames the only thing they have going for them is trade ins.The preorder business they do is sad.

I canceled my order and purchased the dvd version from gogamer.com i suggest you do the same if you want to play BEFORE the next patch

Yep same story here in MN as the rest.

After playing X2 for months at a time, I have been eagerly awaiting X3. I was very exited about the 4th as a release date, lest this week I managed to get off before I start my new job traiing. I figured I'd have nice relaxing week playing X3 before I start my 60+ hour workweeks.

But...haha says Enlight. Every day it's said "it will be on shelves tomarow!"

I even set aside the cash to buy the game, much more of this and I'll just hold off until Oblivion!

Problem to those of us who've suffered financial hardship recently: Is it even possible to order from gogamer without a credit card? I doubt it.

With no other game have I seen such problems. If there is a delay, the publisher should at least be upfront about it!

I learned a long time ago there are certain things that should be purchased locally, such as any mass-produced product distributed on media like CD or DVD. That includes games.

Why? Imagine having to ship a defective copy back to gogamer and waiting again.

At least a retail store can swap it while you wait. Guess I'll just have to "wait" for my EB to get their copies. Sigh.
